I somehow missed your latest TH-cam incarnation and am excited that there so many videos I can watch to catch up with you. I also love to listen while I am busy with my hands... in my case I am usually painting or knitting. I listening to the first 2 books in the Thursday Murder Club series and then got a bit bored. A. couple of the other books you suggested sound good. I am very sensitive to sounds so agree that the narration needs to be really good to listen for so many hours.
😊👍
I'm glad I found your youtube channel. I like to knit and listen to books. Thanks for the book recommendation. Greetings from Sweden. 😊
Oh hi to Sweden, love the country, fab memories of visiting.
I just came across your podcast and am always looking for cozy mysteries. I live in the States and I am also a knitter who likes to listen to audio books. I thought the Thursday Murder Club was great, and excited to hear about the movie. I am a big Agatha Christie fan and have read or listened to all of her books several times. I just ran across a knitting cozy mystery from Maggie Sefton. The yarn shop that this author talks about does exist and is in Colorado. I have only read a few and they OK. One of the comments recommends Elizabeth Peters and I second that. Can't wait to hear about more books. Happy Knitting!!
Oh there are quite a few knitting mysteries. I must read some and do a video about that :) and Christie is a classic. When I am under the weather, I will always rewatch them.
Super cozy video. Thanks, Mel.
Thanks for watching Doris.
You summarized the books so well. I have an old series to suggest , by Elizabeth Peters the Amelia Peabody Mysteries.
Love this series!
I am glad you enjoyed the video. I adore the Elizabeth Peters series, Amelia is hilarious.
What about Viktoria Bliss "Trojan Gold" (Elizabeth Peters) A brilliant book
Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm off to source some of them now.
Hope you enjoy them
