Great video man. Love the content you make. Ships like a chameleon are very expensive losses. Personally i’d fit stabs on mine. It’s not always easy choosing targets with that ship. So stabs would even the odds
While I agree that the losses can look like expensive Killmails, the fact is you can actually get a chameleon for cheaper than an arbitratorIII because there’s so many people who are trying to sell them from getting those loot boxes. Maybe at some point they will go up in price but for now I’d almost rather lose a chameleon and just spend the isk to replace it 😅

Click and hold on your ship while docked or undocked and the options wheel will come up. One of those options on the wheel will be drone range, click and hold on that and set your desired drone orbit range. Usually I have it set for 1-2 km under the drones optimal attack range to compensate for flight speed
Did you play with faction frig ? I m starting pvp with the daerdevil and I don’t find video about so if you do these kind of videos that will be incredible
I was skilled into small missiles and was building a garmur but I wasn’t happy with the dps output at range. I tend to think of frigates as tackle ships and less solo hunters, but that may just be because I have a slow reaction speed- so flying something so fragile scares me 😅
He must have had the CyberX Nanocore that grants him one extra mid slot. that's whit he had 2 NOS 2 Webs and a web scrambler. Got to give it to him, masterfully played. he tricked you into coming to him.

When you scan, spin the results around a bit and only finish the scan on asteroid belts or cosmic anomalies, that’s where the miners and ratters will be. Anything in empty space near or on a planet is likely a structure
Yes, if you long press on your ship while docked or in space there is an option for drone orbit range. I usually set it for just under the optimal as I know they travel pretty fast so will probably swing around the target in a wider arc, but occasionally I forget to reset it and they are no where close to the target. Definitely a mistake you don’t want to make with a drone ship haha
@@TruthAbidein ah wasn’t aware of that, seems extremely powerful as a PvP nanocore then. When I asked the player he said he wasn’t running a scrambler, so for this case at least I know it was one of the rats that betrayed me
My auto-orbit setting is off for the game, I think the issue was I had put in a level 3 MWD speed increase GU and I wasn’t used to the extra velocity effecting my orbit ability so much. The faster you go the harder it is to adjust your orbit mid-combat.

I messaged him afterwards and he said the NPCs helped him out, so I think it was a rat that scrambled me 🥲

Ohh. I also asked our alliance and was told if you get a Machariel Cyber X core, it gives you an option for an additional mid slot.

It’s not the Chameleon, Foadboy kills about 95% of ships that tackle him.
