Don't know how to explain this, but i feel Mark has some elements i've never seen in the same character before.

Bargins Galore I want so bad to say Mark is my favorite. But Ben and Lauren’s chemistry is so organic and they play off of each other so well.. and then Mark is PERFECT for his role. His expressions and his demeanor is incredible. Man I was annoyed with Lauren and how over the top everything was at first. But this has grown on me quite bit. I’m so sad how short this was.
Brandon Piatt mark was definitely MUCH better in the bloopers then the actual episodes. Probably his bits took to long so they had to cut most of him for plot

@@SeraphsWitnessuh. Bro it's at all times multiple levels. Like, she's genuinely this insane person, but she's also hamming it up for TV, so she's both in on it and not in on it. And it's actually a very complex line to walk.
Her character is constantly being ironic or hyperbolic, which when you add that in, makes it genuinely very hard to pull these jokes off correctly in the moment -- with just the right intonation and such to make sense. I mean think about it--she's pretending to be someone pretending to be someone. So some of what she's pretending is pretend and some is pretense.

When Mark throws the pen down a second time because he "clicked it too hard" and Lauren responds with "oh, so you NEVER write!"....that was HILARIOUS improv.

Jake's appearance on this show is so good. I discovered earliest show and new girl around the same time, and the coolest thing was that I happened to rewatch jurassic world in the same timeframe as well, so I got to see jake on new girl then I was like "wait that's Nick!!" when he appeared here, then I was like "holy shit that's Nick AND Sam!!!" when I watched Jurassic world. Love funny little coincidences like that :)
I will never ever stop re-watching this. There's three things that must never stop existing on the internet: Conan remotes, The Earliest Show, and that one video where that cat did that cute thing
"Why are you looking at me like I'm against you?" The whole hour is great but those last couple minutes are so funny.
The bit about Arielle Vandenberg's mom at 56:20 had me rolling on the floor.

Same... And I am now so disappointed to find out that they didn't make any more. The chemistry between these three is amazing, possibly better than any other improv I have seen.
I mean, there's over 1 hour of footage they had to cut from a six, 15min episode series (that's ~3 hours total for the series as a whole. Meaning this video is equal to 1/3 of the entire first season in terms of length). AND IT'S ALL HILARIOUS.
Like a lot of the stuff in this video never should have been cut, it's fucking gold.
They need to bring this shit back on Netflix or something ASAP.

The character of Mark was so much more fleshed out in the outtakes, the real story line of him being in love with Lauren was all in the outtakes, and it was perfection.
Not many improvisors would be quick enough to improvise not being able to fly a plane. Lauren is a genius.

Wow the colors of his suits kinda match the stage of grief that each episode is about. Mostly just the red for anger and dark purple for depression but you could say the other ones kinda match. And it starts and ends with a blue suit.
Denial is a normal suit, because denial, and bargaining is the makeover outfit because he's trying to change.
Love Ben Shwartz's work but I think Mark is the best part for me
