I am not insulting the work of those who make current rally courses, but i do think that the courses could be designed to allow more driving with less running on the racing surface. I'd not against running, but to shuffle along 1 meter behind your car is somewhat strange. There is no need for a radio in this situation; the controls could be attached with a wire. Well-designed courses could have paths for the driver which are separate from the track for the cars. This would allow plants to grow in, making the track clearer. As conditions are currently, drivers are trampling the vegetation. I an happy to see RC rally, and think that it could be even better.
