Full Route Visual | London Bus Route H16 - Harlesden High Street to South Harrow | (VWH2202) LK66DWV

- Hello Everyone, The H16 is a @TransportforLondon route proposed by myself to help improve travel across North West London. The route would go from South Harrow, Roxeth Hill, Sudbury, Alperton, Stonebridge Park and Harlesden High Street. But in this case, I filmed this in the reverse order. The route would ideally be operated by @metrolinelondon using Mark II Gemini 3 B5LH's from Perivale [PV] Bus Garage. The route is a nice one which "may seem short", but it is only short because I didn't stop at any bus stops because I used a car and I don't want to be fined for parking at a bus stop for like 10 seconds lol. Also because of this, I couldn't start at the first bus stop directly because it is a bus only section which means that I would also get fined for going in the bus only section; but I only skip 10 seconds of the route so it's not that deep. I'm also looking to film the route in the other direction which I have been working on for a long time. The route would enter the London Borough's of: @LBHarrow1, @BrentCouncilLondon & @EalingCouncil. I also added the proposed N518 route by TFL that would exist in the next few weeks and months to come which you can see here: haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/n518-r... ; which would also passes through all three boroughs above, but would crosslink the H16 in a way. I really do hope that the @MayorofLondon considers this route to be put in place. It is a nice scenic route that would help directly connect South Harrow to Sudbury & Harrow Road and Alperton and Stonebridge directly as well as connecting the A4005. It would also pass through new roads that do not have a bus service. The route would help to combat urban sprawl within the Alperton-Stonebridge area due to the new upcoming 10,000 flats. The route would also provide new bus stops to improve accessibility to local areas. I have also renamed certain stops to avoid confusion in the local area.

This actually isnt a bad idea, the Route provides links between Harlesden and Harrow and other residential areas around, and you actually made a map for this, 10/10 effort!

Interesting route. Although isn't a lot of this doubling of other routes. Harlesden to South Harrow is done by the 487 (including Sudbury/Stonebridge Park and Alperton - albeit it on different roads).
The route down from Roxeth Hill to Sourh Harrow station is interesting, although don't know how popular it would be as the only part without a more direct connection to the station is the road you take off Shaftesbury Circus (or the road with the 92 from Sudbury Town to the Greenford Road).

Nice Visual! I think this is needed because 487 gets too busy sometimes and you would have to wait for the next bus, Also it would be a good route for elderly people, Also when do you plan to do the 260?

I always thought as a kid, they could extend the H14 from northwick to golders green via north wembley, Blackbird Cross, Neasden, Willesden, Cricklewood. Pretty similar this, Harrow needs a connection to willesden green etc.
Nice idea, but it would probably be long...
I feel like the idea of your route is good in terms of connections from North Wembley, but it would follow the 182 and 245 for a very long time.
@@jtransportbuses yh it's pretty adjacent to 182, similar to 79 and 204
Long extension and a lot of doubling of existing routes. Personally I've always wondered why the H14 doesn't go round the hospital and then straight back to Hatch End to provide a direct way out of the theatres and A&E without sitting on the North side (usually having to get off and back on) for 10 minutes with the 186 (now also H9/H10).
