Full Route Visual | London Bus Route N98 - Stanmore to Holborn, Red Lion Square | (VWH2226) LK66EOA

I just know you weren't expecting this lol! My first ever night route to be done and what better way to have done this by starting with the N98 as it's a route that I have been anticipating to do for a while now! The N98 is operated by Metroline Travel using Gemini 3 B5LH's from both Harrow Weald [HD] Garage & Willesden [AC] Garage. The route goes from Stanmore, Canons Park, Queensbury, Kingsbury, Blackbird Hill, Wembley, Neasden, Dollis Hill, Willesden, Brondesbury, Kilburn, Maida Vale, Edgware Road, Paddington, Hyde Park, Marble Arch, Bond Street, Selfridges, Oxford Circus, Mayfair, Soho, Tottenham Court Road & Holborn. The route used to be at Edgware EW Garage; alongside AC Garage. But when N18 went to RATP, part of its allocation was moved to HD.
The experience was alright I guess: The driver left on time and he was quite fast in the beginning by at least following the speed limit at the minimum. But then the bus was noisy as people were chatting bare loudly on the phone. Another thing was that the bus arrived at Holborn 9 minutes late because of the Oxford Street general traffic - which made no sense as it was like 1:45AM & it is a car-free zone as well; alongside frequent roadworks along the route as well through Willesden & Kilburn mainly. Also, getting caught at traffic lights was also annoying as well. So as soon as the driver arrived at Holborn, Red Lion Square, he left less than 2 minutes later to go towards Willesden Bus Garage as the N98 has a Stanmore-Holborn 30 minute frequency bus on both ends as well as a Willesden-Holborn 15 minute frequency bus. I'm just glad that he didn't curtail at least lol!
You're more than welcome to request night routes for me to film across North, West & Central London. However, I cannot promise that they will be completed anytime soon. Some could take weeks & months to complete. But feel free to request them 👍!
