    Correction
    In 1819, 6 years after Joaquin Leal’s execution in Trinidad for betrayal of the crown, his skeletal remains were gathered and given a Christian burial in January in el campo santo in the San Fernando Church now known as San Fernando Cathedral. This is an ancestor of mine. Please don’t erase him from history.

      Yes it sure is but at least we still have half of the original church to admire and enjoy

    Since it remained a catholic church, the renovations were all done by that religion but the national park service rescued the other missions with in 50 miles of this cathederal.
