Hello, I did create a custom template but in the GPO settings on the Properties for the Encrypting File System, I do not see the created templat. Do you have any hint of why it would be like that? Is there some schema version limit or any other template settings which would disallow using the template for EFS?

Might be permission issue like auto-enroll permission etc. Check out the certificate template properties again.

I am asking for a video on how to configure EFS on the file server. Users use a network share. I don't know how to configure it.

First your video is wonderful, I have a question. I need to create an EFS certificate and allow 1 specific group to receive the group policy (instead of the whole domain) and I wanted to set the group policy to auto-enroll a certificate. Would that be possible?

Yes, it is possible. You just need to create a gpo and define all the efs and certificate auto-enrollment settings in it. Option:1 You can create an OU with all the users for which you want to apply the policy and link the GPO to that OU. Option:2 If option:1 is not possible then link the GPO at Domain or OU level and use security filtering to apply the GPO to specific Group.
