As far as I can find, oil that meets Honda's specifications in the ADV150 manual literally doesn't exist.
It calls for JASO MB oil (for automatic non wet clutch motorcycles), but all that seems to exist is MA (wet clutch) oil.
Which according to some random forum post, does not automatically include MB standards.
So I've been at an absolute loss as to what to refill the thing with, since the oil the manual calls for doesn't exist on retail shelves or anywhere online.
You guys use SAE 10W-30 synthetic JASO MA and it seems to have worked out well enough for you, so I'm assuming that must be close enough.

@@truthhurts5379I'm 2 years late, but, as far as I can tell the transmission oil (referred to as Final Reduction or Final Drive by the manual) doesn't really need changing for like 10k miles, or once every 2 years.

MB means for matic and MA2 for sportbike i mean since MA2 has a wet clutch so Oil manufacturer put some addictive to prevent clutch slip, so that's totally fine to run with it. And MA2 does more long endurance due to higher specs than MB

@@Scooterswapshop I learned something interesting today. MA spec oil contains friction additives for wet clutch applications. MB spec oil is specific to scooters with auto transmissions and lacks this friction additive resulting in better lubricity in the engine and increased fuel economy. I don't know how much better or efficient MB oil spec is vs MA but, I don't see why they'd make two separate oils if it amounted to little difference.
