Pause at 1:23, the contact happened as Soliman was finishing up his swing and was arguably still the striker. I don't think Soliman did anything wrong here, the previous shot was weak and he hit a decent straight drive. The contact happened because Dessouky started his movement so far back instead of from the T. Let for distraction, and possibly a slight telling-off for Dessouky.

So you are saying that Dessouky prevented Soliman from peeling off after his shot? At first glance it seemed as if Soliman was pushing Dessouky back but it makes more sense the way you explain it.

@@lawrencegallagher3722 He wasn't in the way. If you watch Dessouky you see he does this a lot - running in the opponent really very early ("playing the man") deliberately to try to manufacture a stroke - as the previous poster correctly points out, he does so even before the striker had finished their follow through. So he can't do this. In this case at the point where he goes through Soliman the ball is still very far away - so Soliman is not impeding a swing from Dessouky. Let ball, and if keeps doing it, start giving no lets.

He had a stroke and decided to play through it. Then won the point. Should receive the benefit of playing the ball rather than taking a stroke.
