did this hike early june of 2020, snow fields were deep! glad to see they held up thru august. having trekking poles and yaktrax worked great for us. the scramble leading up to the summit it LARGE, LOOSE rocks. be careful of little rock slides/avys anyone attempting this, especially anyone attempting it early in the season. 2 days later we summited borah and this was the perfect warm up for that.
