Newjeans has been branding itself as the opposite of today's kpop stereotype, i.e. overproduced sound, their songs have been fresh in genres with simple easy to listen melodies that dont require a lot of challenging vocals, thats why we've been so surprised by their vocals outside of their group activities, i think Ador need to do this more often with other members as well or it'll be such a waste of their talent

Really love your approach to hearing k-pop groups but in particular NewJeans 'belting' - You know, I was a fan of SNSD for many years, from the age of 13-14 even - and yet still, the first time I feel like I got to hear Taeyeon fully belt and release her voice was in her Solo Debut - 'I' - Crazy.
The fact that Hanni, Dani & Hyein have their voice hidden is a crime, we were TREATED with the Little Mermaid OST.
