Last me self clutch ki problem aa gaya hai. Us model ka clutch mil paaega ya nahi. Self clutch dono side move kar ra and self button press karne par relay se cut ki aawaj aati hai self relay new daala hai. Can you give me any information for this problem.
Hi, MY Royal Infield Continental GT has kick starting issue. When I kick it to start, it gets very tight, even stand up on kick, it goes down very slowly. Then again it get light and it starts within 2-3 kicks. It is happens anytime whether it is in cold or hot condition. My bikes battery is low but working for lights. Right now bike cannot be started by self. What can be the issue, either Sprag clutch Or Auto De-compressor??
if you have very hard kick like as though unable to kick or very high resistance then your sprag is locked up. but if you are able to with little but yes with efforts then auto decomp. to know this better to remove sparkplug and kick the bike if you still feel very high resistance in kicking then yes your sprag is locked. but if u can kick it easily then auto decomp has issue.
Bhai I am facing the same issue in my Bullet500... battery is only down for self stater lights and horns r working though..kick has become harder than before still it starts but now it takes 4-5 kicks at least and it also produces weird metallic sound whenever it kicks back..Chinmay Sir any help? Also pls explain about auto decompressor is necessary or not ? What will be the consequenses ?
STARTER needs almost full current from the battery due to 500 has high torque self start motor. but apart from that other things like bulbs and all need very less amps. In the battery there are two things which are important. Voltage and Amps/hr. So here in your case don't concentrate on Voltage. Please check the battery under load tester. you will get an idea immediately. if you don't have that unit then swap the battery with another. If self works fine just like before then please check the battery as well as battery charging circuit. Thanks.
I Have Thunderbird 350 . While Riding In Traffic In Slow Speeds . I Can Her Gear Change Like Or Gear Slip Like Noise And Bike Gives A Small Jerk When I Release The Clutch. I Release The Clutch I Feel A Jerk And Gear Change Like Noise. This Happens 80% Of Time The Noise And The Jerk Is Not A Please Feeling And It Does Not Give The Feeling Of Smooth Ride. It Feels Like I Have Not Depressed The Gear Peddle Enough To Put The Bike In First Gear. I Have Tried All Sorts Of Things But Not Able To Figure Out The Problem. Any One Facing Similar Problem Or Know The Solution For This(Apart From Setting The Clutch And Adjusting The Ideling RPM).

When should I check the Sprag Bearing?? Any way to determine the health from outside??
yes there are many symptoms if the sprag goes on toss.

check your auto decomp. may be it is not engaging. tight kick symptom relates to Auto D-comp unit. thanks.

Why there is lot problem in self starter in bullet bike than other bike like pulsar ..hero ..honda .tvs..?

Sprocket rubber . yes that's changed to new. Could it be due to sprag clutch
