I just bought a 1975 Gibson Grabber! It's a P-Bass on steroids' and I love it haha The guy i bought it from was also a KISS fan and had it all done in black including the headstock. He also replaced the original bridge with a Badass II. Personally, I like the sound of the string-through body bridge like my 1974 Ripper. What are your thoughts on that?
Congrats on your purchase! Honestly the BA bridge really pulls in and focuses the tone. I have had Grabbers with the different bridges and the BAII and 1 for that matter, really dial it in...the old bridge is fine(unless you don't have the cover, then the adjustment screws eat your hand.....). The Ripper has the 3 point bridge so it is not the same animal....

I really wish Gibson still made those. Way better than any bass they have made in years.

Gibson are so dumb to not make propper reissues of these basses... They can cash in so much on these.
They are not thinking like that....regardless of who is in charge....tis sad....
