Hi Graeme, I've watched most of the videos. Love your videos . My favourite is the one with fishing with peas. Absolute legend and amazing person and youtuber
Amazing night session…I have never seen fishing so frenetic in all my 58 years of fishing. This is only my 2nd carp video of yours I’ve seen, I loved the series with the Wilson Flyer, I had a 23’ one back in the early 80’s. Happy days. You’re tempting me to get my tackle out again, we will see😊 Thanks for sharing your antics and adventures…very entertaining cheers.
Going to ensure my grandson watches your vlogs.. and he's only 2 and a half, he already loves, deadliest catch on, discovery channel.... what a session Graeme..magic..👍👍
Watched you and your son for some time now and was chuffed to see my teenage son also watching your videos. Keep up the great work and tight lines always
Double hook ups are always a chaotic mess. I usually just stand with my foot on the second rod while I play the first. Having the reel fall off as well was comedy gold though Graeme!
We get alot of carps around the 12-28 pounds in my local club. But for the monster carps I had to go to the river had a 44.7 pound common 3 years ago. But I'd rather get 2-6 smaller carp before I wait a week for 1 big one if even at all a bite on a River.
great video Graeme your so entertaining especially when the reel fell of 🤣🤣🤣🤣well done never give up on the videos i think your amazing fellow at 72 respect 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Beer Belly Billy, that brought back a few memories. My very good friend Pete Boden had a bar of the same name in Nong Khai Thailand. Not a fisherman but I did not hold that against him. 😂 Excellent vid, keep strong, keep FISHING.
Hello Graeme , my 8 year old son and I have recently found your channel and we are really enjoying it so Thank you for posting these videos. You remind me of fishing as a boy with my grandad and dad, except those two were constantly bickering about bait, rigs, the weather you bloody name it. It's great because now I get to take my son fishing and teach him all the handed down "lore" and show him how beautiful and fun the British countryside and it's wildlife are, we have both picked up some great "tips" from you so Thank you. Your reel coming off during a double take was bloody hilarious, It actually had my laughing out loud and getting a funny look from my wife haha. Funny how it only seems to happen at the worst possible time, sods law I guess. Anyway please keep the videos coming.

Good evening Greame, windy there, been windy today, enjoying this, nice water, nice swim, great job mate, im on the river unday, not sure which one yet lol, all the best mate.
Been windy all week, all yesterday.all today.I'm fed up with it . I think the rivers might be ok next week though,I might try a few hours stream fishing myself as I have a few maggots left over from a Somerset lake session a couple of days ago.
Find it hilarious when mishaps happen to you. When your reel fell off was up there with when you were on about the size of a crap someone had left on the river bank. Lol
Fish certainly kept you busy on this trip, some great carp, I wonder if you can catch them on pork scratchings seeing as though one of them liked real ale 😂
Loved the video Graeme, It's my Birthday and I'm stuck in bed with a horrendous cold! But thinking about getting back out on the bank, as soon as possible! Keep it up!
Spent a lazy day here in frozen Minnesota watching a bunch of your carp videos and I cant get enough! I have recently come around to carp fishing after about 55 years of trying to avoid them, lol. Lots of nice big ones here in the backwaters of the mississippi river. Really interested in all of the different baits and rigs that you have, I'm not sure if half of that stuff is even available around here but it is fun learning about it anyway. My big question at the moment is what is the purpose of the little mat that you lay the fish on? My best guess is that it helps keep the fish from losing too much of its protective slime? Love the videos and you sprinklng in a bit of humor here and there. A lot of winter to get through so I'm afraid it's going to be April or May before I feel a carp on the end of my line again but at least I have your videos...Thanks for putting them out!
Thanks for the comment. I think my Carp fishing is done for the winter as well. The mat is for keeping the slime on the fish as you say,and protects them from ground.
Graham I think you are brilliant for your age you wear me out and I am only 64 carry on doing what you are doing take care Gary on the windy Isle of wight
I'm over for a week on the Isle of Wight shortly .Hope the weather gets better..there are sure to be rods involved..I never fished over there before so have no idea where to try.
I have a couple that are absolute pigs to use. They probably cast a long way but they are about the most uncomfortable I have fished with.I rarely use them. Would take an 80lb Tarpon to get them bent in a hoop.
I hope to do the same next week,I just hope you viewers can take it ..!!! Lots of work putting them together but all a bit of fun.As long as people seem to enjoy them I'll keep pumping them out.

When you was talking about the small potatoes you used as a lad,my first thought was gnocchi we could use that as bait, cheap and will soak up all the flavour we want, has anybody thought of it or used it as a bait?? Shallow fry the soaked gnocchi for a good hook.. chorizo fat and gnocchi fried.= Winner
Hi Grahame, I believe that I missed a chance to meet you and Mike today (14th June) at Grants Tackle Up. I had an air rifle serviced there and collected it on Wednesday and mentioned I was surprised to see him pop up on one of your vids and he said you were going to be there on Friday Unfortunately it was my sons birthday and he had asked to go fishing which I had agreed to. We went to Willow Park fishery near Ash and managed one nice common carp, so that made his day. I live in Camberley so hope I have the good fortune to bump into you in Grants one day. That Avon rod has a lovely action. Far too many modern carp rods have a fast taper over gunned action that detracts from the fight in my opinion.
