Exhaust manifold that you welded ,
Consider brazing on top of that to stop Fracturing from two dissimilar metals , cast & Steel , Not saying your wrong !
Braising over the top with a torch torch will soften both Metals , then the Brass would be
Redundancy from cracking along the cast , then sand paint with ceramic coating
Just a thought , I have seen a lot of fractured cracks , just Concider

Thanks for the tips! This manifold is cast stainless steel, the pieces added are also stainless. I hope it all stays together with all the exhaust heat.

Chad shouldn’t you mount that shock at full bump so the bumps engage before the shock bottoms out? Or am I missing something?

I live on a dirt road in GA where the county scrapes twice a year unless the school bus driver complained about it there are spots where it is red GA clay and great video keep up the good work God bless from GA stay safe

I live in a city in Mid Michigan with a college there and 1 of our main streets in town had pot holes for 20 plus years just patches upon patches some I swear would swallow a semi truck an always all of you do a fine job on everything you build and work on and here's to HOPING AND WISHING all of your family a HAPPY and MERRY CHRISTMAS
The streets around here are 110% exactly the same as being on a potholed, washboarded old back woods, dirt, logging road but different!! 😂

Roads? Man I live in California we have the highest taxes and the worst roads in the country! Don't get me started!
Our stretch of 24 mile road is horrible. They were last repaved in 1992.
You asked for comments on peoples roads I live off county maintained road I have 1/2 mile of road that I have to maintain my UPS driver told me my road is the smoothest road in the county

Hopefully the fan adapter you made doesn't ruin the water pump bearings might be out of balance just fill in the weld while you have it apart then put it back in the lathe.

Texas roads are horrible!!!! I've even seen people put big flower plants in them to keep people from hitting them to keep from ruining their rims & frontends. UGHHHH!!!! 🤦🏻♂️🤬

Hay Chad. I like your Fabrication work. I think with your Brothers beating on your bench vice you have to google Fireball tool hard tail vice. YES it's pricy but with those barbarians beating on your vice and table you can see your soon going to be in the market for a new one or a replacement... :) Love your advice and calm demeaner. :)
Agree, Those vices are incredible. When we brake this vice that's likely what we'll replace it with

Love your channel and the quality that you guys put into your builds. With that said I've commented a couple time giving Matt heck for not wearing any eye protection while grinding, cutting and drilling. I have done metal fab work starting in the 60's, I've had cutoff wheels explore, drill bits shatter and send pieces everywhere, I've had a wire off a wire wheel stuck in my left eye lid have worn eye protection ever since. You only have one set of eyes protect them.
Come to Illinois if you want to see bad roads.

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area... our roads are okay. They damn well should be, considering all the taxes we pay!
It's the other drivers who are the problem. Way too many of them! There are two speeds: 10 mph over the posted speed limit when traffic allows (one car length between vehicles) or creeping along so slow the speedometer doesn't reguster in bumper-to-bumper traffic jams.
Ever see a woman putting on eyeshadow using the mirror in the sun visor while she's driving at 70 mph? Or a guy eating cereal from a bowl with a spoon?
It was here that I learned what a nanosecond was... that's the time between when a stop light turns green and the guy behind you honks his horn.
A friend I worked with lived in Santa Cruz and commuted to N. San Jose five days a week for 35 years. That's 10 miles of 6 to 8 lane per side of divided freeway followed by 12 or 15 miles of two lane, twisty, windy mountain roads that the daily commuters drive at 70 mph and are only ever slowed by the occasional freaked out tourist who makes the potentially fatal mistake of driving there during commute hours. He broke the steering wheel of every car he ever owned and had carpal tunnel surgery on both arms, twice!
I thankfully no longer commute and can avoid the peak traffic hours.
I learn so much from you. I am betting your manifolds will increase horsepower some, close to headers, with the increased volume. Rear suspension looks amazing. Great work. You and all of your crew and family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. God bless...❤❤❤❤❤

Beautiful header collector. When I was drag racing many years ago we always were concerned with exhaust flow and head/collector flow. Chad's looks absolutely fantastic. Keep up the build looking forward to more.
I buy road Hazzard for my tires for a reason sure it makes them $20-$50 more expensive up front but when a pothole inevitably takes out my sidewall I save $200+
If ya want to test your rims, come to Michigan, the potholes are known for removing fillings & setting off air bags!! Lol.

I'm not saying our roads in Tucson are bad, But last week I hit a pot hole and ended up having lunch in Hu Nan province China. Just an observation but your floor needs repainting. ...just sayin.
I live in Pennsylvania we Notoriously have the worst roads in the United States by far. ask any Trucker, Guarantee they say PA. LOL
Don't bring your 1/4 million dollar Motor coach to alaska if you want to keep the lower fender and body skirts clean. The roads are rough, bumpy and lots of frost heaves
When traveling into Louisiana from any adjoining state the road conditions change dramatically from good or fare to bad, it will wake you up if you're asleep.😞😞
I’m originally from Alaska so every spring once the roads start to defrost and all the bottom layers under the dirt start to defrost it’s pot whole city everywhere it’s like bugs bunny came in town and just dug little holes everywhere good times
The pot holes here are so deep i seen a guy cat fishing in one two days ago

I'm from West Virginia and we have to have WV inspection sticker on our windshields to drive on what they call roads. And reality is the roads need inspection for our vehicles they are in terrible shape.. But that's what we pay taxes for. Lol

As for road conditions,
We have the most perfect as long as you love big potholes.
We also have some of the best sloppy road repair.
We don't have to go off-roading we just drive all over all the bumps in the road.
But seriously, most of them are really bad roads.
our county here in Alberta, can't stop wash board from happing, every grader can't stop wash board from happing on our road
Come up to Davis county specifically Clearfield my road is the worst road anywhere.

The road near your house isn't that bad, when I was there visiting with you this summer. I think Indiana has far worse roads than Utah ever had LOL, and I live in Michigan LOL
Ranking of roads, my state, 50 and 50 clear at the bottom of the for the worst roads in the United States. At least that’s why I’ve been told my little town they’re pretty good but statewide we have the worst for states roads and the highest taxes for gas they should know where that is Washington state. Yes see where you go.

We just have horrible roads all over utah!! We live in Price and the roads are terrible, it's sad when the gravel roads are smoother then the main roads! I just installed a long arm on the jku and was the best decision just for the ride on our roads! Lol😊

You can complain about your roads but you don't pay the gas tax CA pays and the roads in California still suck
Indiana has the worst roads. We have potholes that swallow semi tires. You will be able to tell when you leave Illinois and enter Ohio because the distance between will be the roughest on you and your vehicle than anywhere else you have been. Facts!

Shouldn't the starter engage the flexplate or the flywheel? What is a clutch plate? Do you mean the clutch pressure plate?
If a road vehicle is required to be road worthy, why aren't roads required to be vehicle worthy?
Those tiny gussets on the bump stop supports will eear grooves into the coil springs. Would be better to have a cylinder to locate the coil springs.
i use all if the 12" in travel here in the Detroit area of Michigan. i would say the big 3 pay the state to keep the road bad for testing purposes

I think roads world wide are bad. Some roads in New Zealand have pot holes and we have a lot of road cones very were. It's not good too ride a motor bike at night.
Are roads in Arizona are always under construction potholes gallor and some roads you can catch air if your going 45
This summer the county rebuilt the road passed our lake community so our roads are excellent!
Always a good informative show. Up here in the state of taxes , NY, many of the roads were cement. When they widened them it always pulls apart on the seam. The rest is just band aids on top of each other.
