      A hidden gem is something good that most people dont know about, despite it being good. Time cop and rise of the robots are classified as two of the worst games ever made, acording to everybody on planet earth. So I dont think you really know what the term "hidden gem" really means.

      @THE MARTIAL ARTS CHANNEL Must have missed the memo where everyone on earth was down voting Rise Of The Robots! We had too much fun with fighting robots back then! If the other 98 games can be classified as hidden gems, I'll think I can live with it! But feel free to share 2 of your favourite SNES hidden gems to complete the list!

    In what universe are Chrono Trigger, Super Castlevania 4, Turtles in Time, and Donkey Kong Country 2 "hidden"? Those games are regularly considered some of the absolute best games on the console - I don't think there's a single SNES fan who doesn't know about them.

    • @GamingKick
      @GamingKick  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      True! If you´re a long time SNES fan you already know about these games. To younger fans (>30 years) these games might be not so well known. Always try to get the balance right, between hidden gems for long time fans and new members in the SNES fanclub! And I wouldn´t add more than 10 "well known" games to these lists!

      It's true, Chrono Trigger was a hidden gem for a long time for me, but now it's one of my favorite games on the system!

      The same universe where the Rise of the Robots is a gem.

    Very interesting. There were only a few titles on this list that I knew of. The SNES released before I was born so I never really got into it. I have vague memories of playing RBI baseball and Super mario on it years ago when I was still a kid. I don’t know if I’ll ever pick up a SNES since I assume the game prices are insane. Maybe if I ever mod one of my Vitas/Psps, I’ll have to emulate some of these games. Awesome video man! I’m not trying to be ungrateful, but I miss the videos where you’d spend some time talking about games or consoles. I dig this style of videos too. Happy holidays man!

      Happy holidays to you too, my dude! The SNES is a great system to emulate! It runs on nearly every other system! Tested it on my PSP and it works great! Tons of games got ported to other systems aswell. Mega Man X has an amazing remake on the PSP.
      No worries! My Top 10 videos with me talking about games will return soon. Already working on another PS4 hidden gems and an SNES hidden gems video. Tbh I prefer talking about these games way more, but lately the Top 100 videos are exploding and bringing a ton of traffic to my channel. The ancient TH-cam Gods are petty and cruel and they plagued me with suffering to make Top 100 videos. But I´ll dare to challenge their power...with some Top 10 videos ;)

    Your definition of Hidden Gem is quite broad, especially among the Top 20 (DKC 2, Castlevanias... quite popular, actually).
    Anyway, is a good list. I noted some titles didn't know about. Thanks.

    • @GamingKick
      @GamingKick  ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you liked it! Had to add a few "better" known games too! As you said there are tons of different gamers out there, so I kept it a bit broader.
