Lata ji left us last year. I had been praying for her speedy recovery and long life, like if she was a blood relative family member and indeed she was. I was devastated when news confirmed that she is gone. To console me my uncle said that she was old and couldn't sing anymore, I replied, I know but just knowing that Lata ji is still in this world makes this world a lot better place to live in. A part of my existence was lost with Lata ji's demise 😢
