Thank you so much for this review! I have been looking into Essembly and this sold me!! Not a fan of all-in-one diapers (for when solids start), not so much into pocket diapers either! I'm a nanny, and they use Prefolds+covers which I like the idea of but fiddling with the Prefolds can be fussy sometimes now that he's bigger. I wish more brands had this inner+outer sort of style!! I like that I can use any covers over the inners as well, as I'll be getting a few Thirsties secondhand from a friend. Definitely adding Essembly to my registry!! Thank you thank you for this full review!! You've gained a new sub!
Hi Katie!! Thank you so much for the kind words and subscribing to the channel!! So happy to have you!! I previously used prefolds/flats/covers and it’s definitely a more difficult hassle with an older, bigger baby! These inner and outers from Esembly are perfect!! And I definitely still use some of my other brand covers on top of Esembly inner Liners! The inners are just amazing!!! Congratulations on your little one and prayers for a healthy, wonderful pregnancy and delivery! Wishing you all the best! 💕
We are about 4 months pregnant and super looking forward to cloth diapering. Thank you so much for this video. As it was very insightful and has made it a bit less intimidating. What brand do you like for the disposables? We’ve been looking Coterie
Hi Emilia!! Congratulations on your pregnancy! You are very welcome, I’m so glad it was helpful!! And we like the disposable brand from Heathy baby! www.healthybaby.com/collections/diapers-wipes?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA-bmsBhAGEiwAoaQNmk3W9SEBMR4f17qibWQ8tcR4AVmYDuX5Ko5JcE47uOXE30tnPS-ZBxoCdjEQAvD_BwE I have heard of Coterie but haven’t tried them!
I’m still in the research stage of cloth diapering and am trying to decide on a detergent. How long did you use branch basics for? I’ve heard some people say natural detergents don’t work for cloth diapers, but I refuse to use a chemical filled detergent. Did you notice any smell problems or anything else using branch basins?
Hi! I’ve ALWAYS used natural detergent. Had no problem ever. Started with branch basics for about 1-2 years and the only reason I stopped Is because I started making our own detergent for budget reasons. Never had issues with it either. Now I used another natural brand, defunkify, and it’s been fine too. Whatever I use for our clothes, I’ve always used for diapers! The key is to sun them to keep smells and buildup down on diapers. I sun dry mine whenever possible, usually every time, but every 4-5x would prob be sufficient if you can’t sun dry every time!
@@AmmieHarris thank you so much! This is good to know and so relieving as I was starting to get so discouraged reading those comments about natural detergent because part of why I want to switch is to lower the toxins that come in contact with my baby.
Ive been trying to find more opinons but cant seem to get answers lol even though there are tons of reviews but im wondering if these fit pretty true to size? Im looking to try some of the inners on my daughter who is 13lbs 23.5 inches and 5.5 months, i saw a couple people say they run small but not sure if they had bigger babies or how small they thought they actually fit to. My daughter is petite anyway and tends to grow fairly slow but i dont want to get too many of them if they wont fit long for her in a size 1.
Hi! Thanks for reaching out! I’m happy to share our experience! In my opinion they run true to size since my babies can wear a size 1 until like 20 lbs (17 is the recommended weight). The last snap is being used, but they still fit them with no leaks. This is around age 1 usually for us! My babies are somewhat petite too but they have leg rolls and a round belly like a healthy child. Not overly rolly but healthy chubby haha. The diapers fit them perfectly! The snaps make them very customizable.
Thank so much! I did end up buying the size 1 and it fits her great. She's on the second snaps from the middle. I know what you mean too about the little leg rolls lol my daughter has those too shes just mini though lol. I was so nervous to get the size 1 because of what I saw from people with bigger babies say so I wasn't sure but it looks like they will fit her a while longer. I love this system though, I'm glad I got them and your reviews really pushed me into deciding to finally try them.
Yes I’ve actually read that as well. (After I started that process bc it’s how I did my precious cloth diapers) But I’ve used mine now for 2 years and have zero issues with them!! I do rinse poop before putting in diaper dirty bag, rinse cycle, and then wash cycle. Then clothes line or hang dry I think I’m the video I mentioned I do fry them sometimes but I rarely do thsi anymore bc it helps remove any staining and keeps them in much better shape too!
Yes the inners will be very soaked!! We just change them every 2ish hours and my kids have both done fine. It’s not like a disposable. The outer is intended to hold everything in from leaks! Make sure you properly pre-prepared the inners before using accordingly to the prep instructions on the Esembly webpage and the will be absorbing properly as they should!!!

@@mariocartel544 I’m so glad to hear you are loving them for your daughter!! Thanks for letting me know they are working lovely for y’all!
I have seen that Esembly recommends not soaking and rinsing their diapers. Haver you experienced any degradation from rinsing the poopy diaper

Is it normal for the inners to get super soaked (all over)? I feel like them my son’s whole bottle half is all wet.

Hello, can I provide you with some diapers for free?
