Looks like you don't have an alternative video for framing movie posters without a mat. It would be awesome if you made one. Do you use spacers? Thanks!
You dont have to use spacers for decorative framing, however, if you are concerned about protecting the print then spacers will help keep it from getting stuck to the glass after many years. UV glass or acrylic will help protect it from fading. You can also consider acid and lignin free foam core backing instead of something like cardboard which is acidic.
It gets easier with practice, we promise! We do this professionally and still sometimes get a little nick. :) Our team is happy to help and full of further tips if you need us!
Sorry, it is not shown well in the video. The mat is on top of the poster and the poster should be covering up part of the inside edge of the mat. The tape starts on the top edge of poster extending past it to the bottom of the mat. The assumption is the poster is smaller than mat. Great Job Sean; Complements to you are deserved.
NIce job on explaining the process!
Thank you! Very concise instructions.
Please do a video framing a LP Album with Record seperated from sleeve. Thank you
I hope I can find one of your videos for movie posters without the mat. Other than that, great tutorial. Thanks!
No mat makes it easy since the frame size should match the image size there is no need to mount it since there is no room for it to move around.
So helpful thank you for this video 🙏❤

Ahh, easy tutorial! Me, 4 hrs later: "my fingers are bleeding and the poster is torn up"

@FrameDestination Thanks!
Step 2 makes no sense. He's applying the tape to the bottom of the mat, but how does that attach the poster to the mat?
