Guys, when the Australian borders eventually re open. You need to get to Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road. Western Australian is INSANE - the most isolated capital city in the world. Yet it is absolutely STUNNING but you need a car - it takes hours to get anywhere. Some of the world's best red wine is sourced from that region.
It'd be great to see you guys back here to pickup where you left off. Your videos offer a really balanced view of life here. I have a bunch of American relatives (New England area) including my sister who emigrated to the USA many years ago, and she can't teach the Aussie slang and lifestyle to Americans all by herself, so thanks for pitching in to help! 👍 Funny story: her first child, born in the US, picked up part of her Aussie accent as she learned to talk. When she started elementary school, my sister got a phone call from the teacher who wanted a meeting to discuss her daughter's "speech impediment". When they heard my sister speak, they suddenly realised it wasn't actually a speech impediment! 😂
Hang in there. Love to see you back travelling when this thing is eventually over. Keep the videos coming. It’s as much about seeing the two of you as it is about what you have been up to.
Oh. Fairy bread. It is usually eaten by children at kids parties? Hahaha. I think you have been stitched up a little, as I last ate it when I was 5. 53 years ago... Lol.. When we open up again for international travellers. I hope your guys get the chance to really explore the many variations we have, from riding a Camel train at sunset on Cable beach in Broome with its 12 meter tides, and the rugged Kimberley. To the tropical rainforest of north Queensland, down to the beauty of Tasmania. You can even go on the train called "The Indian Pacific" that takes you across from Sydney to Perth, through the longest straight section of rail in the world, across the Nullarbor Plain. Look forward to you videos. Stay safe.

There was a vacuum of rural/farm jobs created by many others leaving Australia to head back home. If you ever come back to Australia, come to the West and take a road trip up north to the Kimberley region and our beautiful outback. Karijini National park is spectacular (stay overnight at El Questro Wilderness Park- you won't be disappointed!) and then maybe stop at Coral Bay's Ningaloo Reef on your way back. Hi Guys Love the vids , we have the best country in the world here in Oz , so much more to see and do here … please come back soon and keep the vids coming 🍺 cheers 👍
Dont forget to try a shower brew ... when you have had a really rough day and am feeling totally knackered you get home have the hottest shower you can and while showering drink the coldest beer you can ... aussie shower beer more than one can get messy
Life is back to normal and everyone is relaxed again. We just have to sign in at restaurants with a QR code and nightclubs and festivals are off except in Queensland and NT.
Good on you two! So hope you can come back one day. Aussies LOVE hearing from people who love Oz, perhaps because we enjoy sharing this big bloody beautiful country of ours, and we love it so much ourselves. But, ssshhhh, we like to keep it small! So (ocker slang alert) give us a bell next time when you're here and in two shakes we'll put on our thongs and boardies, hop in the Ute, grab a few snags, and maybe swing by the bottle-o to grab some grog, and get together for a bit of a barbie! Sigh! I have a never spoken like that in my life...(real version: Give us a call when you make it back and we will get dressed, hop in the Hyundai I-30, pick you up and bring you back to our place for a BBQ on the deck, perhaps with some wine and of course, coffee, and Regina Spektor playing in the background! You will likely hear possums screeching and see fruit bats flying across the sky at dusk, so that is something!)
Life is basically back to normal here with a few changes like mask on Public transport etc which is a GREAT thing every country should do it. You should come back safer then USA. We have Covid handled without vaccine yet.
Check out the current season of Amazing Race Australia, it’s racing around Australia so you’ll get some ideas of amazing places to visit (or not visit🤣). So far I’ve only seen Queensland places, not sure if they are going to other states.
Hope you guys make it back to Oz as soon as travel restrictions ease - but this time you have to live in Melbourne. It's WAY better than Sydney 😜 and Jenny can indulge her love of coffee, cos Melbourne is full of coffee snobbery!
Would like to see your opinions on some towns and citys outside the normal ones seen. Have you thought about Alice Springs? You could stay there for 6 months and not see all the sighrs.
Thanks for ur videos 😊 Do u think u want to try living in another city next time. Maybe Melbourne? I’ve lived in 5 states and Melbourne is my favourite- coffee 😍😍😍
@@shaunstelfox1718 come on there are so many good things!! It’s just not yet back to pre Covid greatness but we will get there soon enough! Melbourne has real soul, I’ve lived in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and while all the states have good qualities for me Melbourne wins by a long shot!
Melbourne by far the best city in the land, vibrant, exciting, foodie culture, festivals, great sporting events and downright beautiful. Check out the multitude of vlogs showcasing the city and it's cosmopolitan atmosphere, compare that to Sydney which really has nothing to showcase, except for the bridge, harbour and Opera house. No disrespect to our northern neighbours, but it is bland. C'mon back guys, regardless where you choose to spend time, Australia is the greatest on this planet!!
@@shontellepayne551 I agree we'll get there soon enough I haven't lived anywhere else other than Melbourne. Cafè and restaurant culture is a big part of our city 👌
G'day honourary Aussies. Have ya had a go at making lamingtons yet? Good dinky-di Aussie tucker. Or have you introduced your fellow countrymen (and women) to the great Australian tradition of "The Shout"? One last thing...Please try your best to introduce the word "chook" into the American vernacular; it's such a better word than "chicken". lol :) Love your vids. You are such an endearing couple. The world would be such a better place if there were more such as yourselves. (Perhaps you should be cloned :D ). Seeya.
Haven't tried making a lamington yet but that's a good idea! 😊 We loved using the word chook when in Australia so we'll do our best to make it a thing here. Thanks for watching and your kind words.
I'm 65 and have only once ever eaten fairy bread. I've once had a Bunnings sausage. I prefer Promite - but it's the same "family" as Vegemite, so that's okay. I sincerely hope you can return and live in Qld next time. The people are more laid back (not comatose, but perhaps close), and some towns make you feel so welcome. My one warning is to never bother with Rockhampton. If Australia was a bull, it would be squarely located under the tail. The people are unfriendly and it has an awful climate. (I lived there for more than six months once, and you'd have to pay me extraordinary amounts of money to return.) Looking forward to more of your thoughts re your time here. What I like is that you are respectful. It's one thing to belong to a certain culture and compare differences, good and bad. It's totally another when people hold up their culture as being the standard by which the value of the rest of the world is judged. I was once told by an American that "it is a well-known fact that America is the greatest country on earth". I reminded him that I had been to his country but he had never left it or seen mine. (He was trying to convince me to leave Australia and move to the US, where he claimed I'd be much better off.) That kind of thing makes me coldly friendly, and looking for a quick exit. LOL
@@twotravelingkings Oh wow that would have been so cool, WA has soo many cool places and Far North Queensland is like another planet all together, Look up Canopy treehouses they are treehouses in a rainforest its magical, like out of a Disney movie 10/10 would and :)
NSW is easing back on restrictions, and you would have to spend 2 weeks in quarantine on arrival. Other than that, life is pretty much back to 2019 conditions now.
But drive via the middle of the country to get from east to west coast You will need a 4WD and desert crossing preparation but is so much better than just blacktop touring

Hope you soon get the opportunity to return. We have huge range of more experiences and places here for you to explore and experience.
I personally think we are the best safest place in the world at present.
We do too! Thanks 😊
Welcome to our home friends.
😊
Hi Guys
Love the vids , we have the best country in the world here in Oz , so much more to see and do here … please come back soon and keep the vids coming 🍺 cheers 👍
I hope you both get to come back here one day
Us too! 😊
Lol you just want is a good morning brew lol. Well, when we're allowed to freely travel and if you're ever in Melbourne hit me up.
That's all we want 😊 haha
I see you have attempted to recreate the beloved sausage sanga with marty sauce. I respect that!
We did our best! 😊
And make sure you visit Hervey Bay too
We'll add it to the list!
Dont forget to try a shower brew ... when you have had a really rough day and am feeling totally knackered you get home have the hottest shower you can and while showering drink the coldest beer you can ... aussie shower beer more than one can get messy
Lol! 😊
Hey guys. Come and stay with my wife and daughter in Brisbane for a while. Would love to show you a little bit of Queensland. Let me know.
Very kind of you, thanks for watching! 😊
AFL (Aussie rules football) is growing in popularity in the US, would like to see you cover that
Noted, thanks for watching ☺️
Hope you guys get back to Australia to watch a AFL game. I love ya videos. Please keep them coming Cheers Kirk (from Geelong).
Will do ☺️
Life is back to normal and everyone is relaxed again. We just have to sign in at restaurants with a QR code and nightclubs and festivals are off except in Queensland and NT.
👍
Sounds like a great time! 😊
Life is basically back to normal here with a few changes like mask on Public transport etc which is a GREAT thing every country should do it. You should come back safer then USA. We have Covid handled without vaccine yet.
Come to Perth! You'll never leave! But please, don't tell everyone about Australia's best kept secret.
Planned on it! Sounds good 😊
Check out the current season of Amazing Race Australia, it’s racing around Australia so you’ll get some ideas of amazing places to visit (or not visit🤣). So far I’ve only seen Queensland places, not sure if they are going to other states.
Nice!
Hope you guys make it back to Oz as soon as travel restrictions ease - but this time you have to live in Melbourne. It's WAY better than Sydney 😜 and Jenny can indulge her love of coffee, cos Melbourne is full of coffee snobbery!
Lol we heard! 😊
Super..come and live in Melbourne
😊👍
Gday "y'all" from Ozland.
Gday 😊
Look forwards to having you guys back when the borders open and maybe teach you how to say g'day properly 😂
We'll keep trying 😬
Vegemite, coffee AND fairy bread!! It is pre-ordained that you will return. You are welcome.
Cheers 😊
Would like to see your opinions on some towns and citys outside the normal ones seen. Have you thought about Alice Springs? You could stay there for 6 months and not see all the sighrs.
On our list
Thanks for ur videos 😊 Do u think u want to try living in another city next time. Maybe Melbourne? I’ve lived in 5 states and Melbourne is my favourite- coffee 😍😍😍
Coffee is one of the few good things about Melbourne at the moment ☕
@@shaunstelfox1718 come on there are so many good things!! It’s just not yet back to pre Covid greatness but we will get there soon enough! Melbourne has real soul, I’ve lived in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and while all the states have good qualities for me Melbourne wins by a long shot!
Degraves street in Melbourne is worth a visit even if only for the fact it is almost entirely cafes!
Of course you should come back to oz
😊
Come to Melbourne. We have Trams, great coffee and best of all it's not Sydney!
😂 we really liked our weekend in Melbourne and would love to come back
hows lockdown going for ya?
@@pearlyshells2430 Its relatively short so we are coping just fine. More like a long weekend at home.
G'day honourary Aussies.
Have ya had a go at making lamingtons yet? Good dinky-di Aussie tucker.
Or have you introduced your fellow countrymen (and women) to the great Australian tradition of "The Shout"?
One last thing...Please try your best to introduce the word "chook" into the American vernacular; it's such a better word than "chicken". lol :)
Love your vids.
LOL
Lol 😊
Turf just going to t20, off the bat. Cricket is a whole different box of frogs, as for footy, that's just pain.
Plenty of usafl in the US. Go the 🍐
😊
come to perth, haha. Hell do a total Australian road trip.
That was the original plan 😊
@@twotravelingkings Oh wow that would have been so cool, WA has soo many cool places and Far North Queensland is like another planet all together, Look up Canopy treehouses they are treehouses in a rainforest its magical, like out of a Disney movie 10/10 would and :)
I am new to your vlogs. You are such a lovely couple please come back to Australia I will buy you a schooner .
Thanks so much! And sounds good 😊🍺
I haven’t seen if you’ve cover lamingtons, something uniquely Australian, easy to make and taste good
They have. They prefer the ones without jam I think
Will try and do a lamington vid!
NSW is easing back on restrictions, and you would have to spend 2 weeks in quarantine on arrival. Other than that, life is pretty much back to 2019 conditions now.
sydney is not all of nsw. we never had restrictions 2hrs outside of sydney.
👍
And last drinks at Kings Cross will be 3:30am (not 1:30am) from 8 March 2021.🙂
Come back to Sydney!!!
Of course 😊 hope you're doing well Jackie!
When you guys get back Australia, come to Perth
Sure thing 👍
Yeah I second this
But drive via the middle of the country to get from east to west coast
You will need a 4WD and desert crossing preparation but is so much better than just blacktop touring
U should visit the beaches up north and down south not just in the city
The beaches are still good but coastline up north eg nigaloo reef and Rottnest. Which is basically a little island off freamantle off Perth. It’s a island we’re u basically can ride around with amazing beaches and snorkeling and fishing
Pls check out
Do I detect withdrawals? ;)
😬
Nar good on yas !!😁
"Nar" 😂
You need to return to Australia, you haven't tried a real Bunnings sausage sizzle yet.
Sounds good to us 😊
Come back to Australia soon and see Western Australia make your country men jealous of how we are the lucky country this great brown land we call Australia
On our list!
So when are you guys emigrating here? Lol
😂
Get over here quick... Almost no covid.
😊
You’s need to visit the Gold Coast next time when you’s come back to Australia
👍
I think your missing our coffee...
A bit..
I know you've gone down the vlog/blog path, but I hope you do consider setting up a Patreon.
We'll think about it!
Have you lot tried chicken salt on chips yet?
We have 😊 also something we don't have in the US
@@twotravelingkings is so weird you would think that America has everything
