Ogunde is the best African actor of all generations in history
Hubert Ogunde is a chunk of Yoruba History on his own!
His originality was exceptional.
The family should please for God sake to bring the film back to the cimena. We are begging!
I am African American born 1969. I have tears in my eyes because we have been lied to about our people from the continent. But my Ancestors are your stolen family members and I am happy we have that lineage with you. My relative in South Carolina today hold onto our Yoruba Spirituality. Thank you for this documentary
*hugs*
Olódùmarè bless you
Love from Motherland❤
That’s wickedness of what European plunder with white Americans plunder did to black race in Africa for centuries. Wish you best of luck our sister
❤❤❤❤❤
Yoruba is indeed a world heritage. It’s as enormous as what your mind can conceive of achieving❤.
Well done for these our cultures of our late father Hubert Ogunde. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
Baba is a legend. I love watching his film. Aiye, jaiyesimi, Aropinteniyan etc. RIP Baba Ogunde.
Rest in peace Pa Hubert Ogunde 🕊️🕊️🕊️🌹❤
May the departed souls rest in peace 🕊️💐💐💐
Hubert Ogunde was a prophet but the world didn't know. Please let us immortalise a great legend. His songs are emotional spiritual educative and biblical.
History can never forget
I want to ask @Tunde Kelani if there is a plan to bring back Baba Ogunde's movies to Cinemas. It is very important especially the new generation of Yoruba to show them our rich cultures.
The originator of Nollywood in general
I am so moved by this documentary. God bless the memory of Pa Ogunde.
did anyone see the chain on his neck . I totally respect BABA
Hubert Ogunde was a flourishing artist in his time. He was both local and international in his approach to the arts. He's greatly missed. I like his shows.
Good days when technology has not take over our lives, that was the people that makes movie to make sence today. baba Ogunde rest in peace.
YORUBA NATION: You cannot duplicate or replicate that majestic voice of Legendary Chief Herbert Ogunde. It's the kind of voice you hear once, and stay in your mind for a long time. Especially the song "OSHEE ITUURA, OLOOYE AWO...." Loving it! Publisher@AFRICA-USA Today Magazine.
Do you have any of his movies
I wish his work could be shown to the younger generations.
I love baba so much, especially his song, may u continue to rest in perfect peace
Even @ Baba's demise, all songs composed by his is evergreen. A rare Legend Musical and Cultural Heritages which I vividly remember though I was very young but has passion for his movies. With the help of Baba yii Tunde Kilani and Pa.Ogunde' s children allhis work done qnd.left behind would come back to TH-cam. Rest on Legend
Papa continue to rest in perfect peace the whole world is missing you
The quality of his 'movie' in those days still stood out the test of time.
Yoruba culture is so beautiful... continue to rest in peace baba
Waooh! Im just seeing this documentary. Waoooh. He was a great man. May his soul rest in peace.
PA Ogunde is Nigeria's greatest showman
This is wonderful, documentary of Yoruba Heritage. Good God please, for your goodness sake, bless the YORUBAS.
Firstly, I want to thank the host and the son of the late actor for the wonderful work of eliciting the stage life of this great great actor - Pa Hubert Ogunde. I was really elated, full of nostalgia and was very proud of our legend. Omo Ijebu alare, omo Gbegande. May his great soul continue to rest in peace, amen. Is it the voice or the act that I would talk about. I remember when I was young and would quickly finish my chores and would run to my father's 'the palour' to watch the drama that would commence with series of singing and dancing. It was a great entertainment for us. When I heard the songs which I sang along (I know most of his songs), I felt an air of satisfaction in my tummy. I also like 'mama iye mire yen', mama Adesewa and mama 'efuntajobo', they were the indefatigable top casts apart from Papa Ogunde. Pa had a very attractive and captivating voice. Also, I remember vividly when Mama Adesewa passed away. It was a very sad moment in every household. I felt it more because I went to the same school as some of her children. They were really handsome and vibrant like Papa. Please try and resuscitate and continue his great work. Osi Ijebu agbeni o, ase. His plays/films were traditional, authentic and very entertaining. He truly deserves a top posthumous award.
Uncle Tk, can you please interview that little boy on stage in that film, if he is still alive...fans would love to see his adulthood
Oh, that's true👍
😊😊he is the BASHORUN in kunle afolayans new movie ANIKULAPO. It's such a wonderful experience for him to be back to acting. His name is OWOBO OGUNDE.
Yoruba Nation will honor Baba Hubert Ogunde and immortalize him as a legend. Up Yoruba Nation, Oduduwa Republic is real. No controversy. God bless you all gbogbo omo Yoruba.
Give us films of aye, jayesimi, ayanmo
Pioneer,Pa Ogunde need to be immortalised by government
Ogunde family should have been our own Disney if it had been preserved and built on. Nigerian businesses usually disappears after the owner dies.
Pa Herbart Ogun was a world wide legend.
Pa Ogunde's films should be brought back to the Cinemas please.. His children should consider this..
Yes oh
It is important to either upload or put the films on Netflix if it cannot go to the cinema
Baba was a great man ,he is my mentor,a legend of all the time.Hubert ogunde
Waoh! This is really nice. Rip Pa Ogunde u r a legend n forever missed. Thanks to Arambara Tv 4 dis documentary.
how i wish i meet dis man when i am in dis world. Rip legend Ogunde. Iku doroooo
I absolutely love this , thank you guys for documenting history ❤️
When pillar collapsed, many other things collapses as well. rest in peace PA OGUNDE.
I grew up on Ogunde songs. I would like to hear ebami bagbaya lere, ebami bagbosika lere. Are you able to help?
It's a shame that Nigeria govt has not immortalised this sage like Europeans pr American would've done. The best thing that could happen to Yoruba authentic culture is bringing Aropin n'teniyan back to the cinemas. I will watch it 20 times.
It's when you get your own nation that correction of past mistakes can be redressed
@@halidsheriff8002 Exactly. Nothing good can come out of Nigeria. The glory of the Yorubas lie in a new Odua Nation where justice and equality prevail with return to positive traditions of the past.
Where did you watch the movie
