I am Greek and I think that Italian is definitely the most beautiful language. It's very musical and the intonation makes it easy to understand the sounds and general pronunciation. It reminds me a bit of Cypriot Greek, one of the most melodic Greek dialects.

Sono uno spagnolo che abita in italia da due anni e ho scoperto pochissime settimane fa che molte persone trovano attraente il mio accento. La cosa più divertente è che in Spagna succede al contrario, la lingua italiana è considerata quella più sexy senza dubbio. Secondo me gli italiani e gli spagnoli sono destinati ad essere finiti insieme!

I remember laying back on my backpack on the Palermo airport floor, getting some shuteye time, with my guitar case next to me, waiting for my flight from Palermo to Rome. Listening to Italian women speaking as they walked by, and of all languages I've ever heard in the 26 countries I've ever been to, Italian is by far the most beautiful language in the world.
I'm a Hispanic American but Italian is my favorite language. Molto buono.

Its a tie between Spanish and Italian for me. It was interesting to find English in the running. I guess it is easy to learn with only one article and less conjugations. Shakespeare liked it!

Oui je suis d'accord. Je dis souvent que l'italien et le français sont deux langues jumelles mais l'italien est beaucoup plus mélodique grâce à l'accent tonique qui ne semble pas exister en français

Being Spanish I was honestly surprised by how many of them said “spagnolo”. I assumed most of them would say French or something because our languages sound so similar they would not find it “exotic”. Guess I was wrong. Anyway if you asked this same question in Spain probably most people would say Italian as well haha
I have never understood why, but Italians see French language and France with rivalry, but French people don't see Italians as competitors. Therefore, maybe, you won't find a lot of Italian people, who mention the French language.
@@BabaBugman I think because Italy and France have many similar things. They are both known for having good food (both are known for good oil or wine), rich history (both arts), beautiful landscape, high fashion.
So maybe because they can be similar especially for foreigners they want to beat them.

French and Spanish sound nothing alike. I like French but I prefer the sound of Spanish. Italian is my favourite though. Spanish is a close second.

I am 75% Greek, 25% Russian, my native languages are Greek and Russian. I've been learning English, German, Spanish and now I learn French. I decided that after French my next language is gonna be Italian because I listen to the people and I am really surprised that I understand 100% of what they say.

Poi aggiungerei che viaggiando un pò ti puoi accorgere che valori ne abbiamo da vendere (gli azzurri ce l'hanno di nuovo provato), che difetti ne abbiamo molti ma quello peggiore per me é quello di vedere spesso il bicchiere mezzo vuoto e soprattutto siamo filosoficamente viziati dal nostro benessere dagli anni 70 circa..... In my opinion Spanish and Italian are the most romantic and pleasant languages in the world to listen to I love them both dearly and need to dedicate more time learning Italian as I’m already a native Spanish speaker.
Creo que hay muchas lenguas bellísimas. Por ejemplo el español es muy versátil ya que tenemos el español europeo, el mexicano, el cubano, el argentino y es verdaderamente exquisita la jerga de cada región. El francés es una lengua muy romántica que al oido se escucha hermoso. El italiano tiene una gramática muy similar al español pero su acentuación es magnífica, creo que es una lengua que vale mucho la pena hablarlo por el simple hecho de lo hermoso que se escucha. As Spanish speakers, we would always have advantage to learn Italian since we have several similarities. I tried to memorize 30 words in my first day learning Italian and it worked.

L'Italie et l'Espagne ne sont pas frère... ni dans la culture.... Ni dans l'histoire... Litalien et le français partage 89% du lexical... Se sont mes deux langue latine les plus proche au point de vu lexical... La langue la plus facile a apprendre pour un français est l'italien.... Alors que la langue la plus difficile a apprendre pour un français est l'espagnol.... Qui n'a rien a voir avec L'italien et le français au point de vu grammaire car l'espagnol a beaucoup trop été arabisé sur la phonétique et la mélodie de lespagnol sonne souvent comme une langue arabe a l'oreille d'un etranger.... En tant que français ma langue préfèrer est l'italien.... Alors que celle qui m'attire le moins est l'espagnol jai horreur de sont sons.... On a limpression que c'est une langue qui crache a chaques mots... Litalien est tout le contraire de lespagnol l'italien est doux et fluide comme la langue française qui est tres certainement la langue la plus douce

Per me, la lingua più bella del mondo è l'italiano, senza dubbio. Amo i suoni aperti e chiari dell'italiano, ma anche le espressioni facciali delle persone quando lo parlano, specialmente le belle donne. I’m French and people often say Italian is the most beautiful language, so that doesn’t surprise me. But overall we’re extremely proud of our language too though, that woman exaggerated lol
We have a very positive image of Italy. It doesn’t seem to be mutual *at all* 🙃 but both countries are similar in many ways so we feel close to Italians. Italy is probably the country we have the most respect for, in terms of admiration for its History, culture etc.
I love the French language, but being a native English speaker who's taken a few years of Spanish and now some Italian for my degree, I have the hardest time saying some French words. My friend, Stephanie, is from Paris and she'll tell me how to say some words and I just can't get that French rolling r. 😂 It's quite different from the Spanish or Italian rolling r. It seems to come from the back of the throat. 🤔

Oh yeah that r causes problem to most people learning it haha Usually people either barely pronounce it or go *RRRRRR* like they’re suffocating 😝 They’re often pronounced fairly softly though, it depends ! When it’s at the very beginning, it’s a lot harsher than when it’s in the middle of a word.
I can totally see why it’s hard ! There’s a TH-cam channel called Damon & Jo that’s very good to improve French, and if I remember well they have a video to help with the r sound 🤗
Another thing is that French has a lot of nasal sounds, I think it’s often a problem foreigners have from what I heard

I studied French for years and years, speak more or less fluently, lived there for years, etc., thinking it was the best and most beautiful. I had never thought much about Italian until hearing it on TH-cam videos. I realized that it is actually more beautiful (sounding) than French, and I’ve been studying it for a year and a half now. I do not read Italian well enough to give an opinion on whether it is a more beautiful written language than French. In general, they’re either equal or French a close second. Great video!

Non sarei qui se non penserei che l'italiano e una lingua piu bella nel mondo. Prima, quando non ho capito una parola, mi sembravo che tutti gli italiani cantanno, e questo era impressione molto bello. Oggi, mi piace molto guardare i film sul TH-cam, ascoltare i Spotify podcast, e spendere il tempo imparando l'italiano.
Sono affascinato dalla lingua araba. La ho studiata due anni all'Università. La letteratura araba è straordinaria.

To me Italian is the easiest language to learn from the romance languages. I've learned german for 8 years in school, and only for 1 year of italian just online, and I understand italian alot better than german.
I was going to say the exact same thing. Italian is a very beautiful language but it is not really so difficult if you compare it to other languages. It is the easiest out of all the romance languages and maybe the second easiest European language to learn after English. Why do you say Italian is easier than other romance languages?
Its grammar is very similar to that of other languages of its family.
Obviously there are many languages around the world that are far more difficult than Italian (eg. Russian, Arabic, Hungarian, ...), but Italian grammar doesn't look so easy, especially when you study verbs!

Magari dire e capire "salve", "grazie", "mi scusi, dove si trova.../come si arriva a...?" non è troppo complicato (in nessuna lingua del mondo, credo).
Poi magari leggendo il vocabolario trovi molte parole simili e ti illudi di avere a che fare con una lingua facile.
Ma prova poi declinare nomi e aggettivi, a coniugare i verbi, a rispettare la sintassi, a pronunciare correttamente, a utilizzare un registro adeguato al contesto, ... !

1:10 I think EXACTLY the same regarding French. I am learning Italian and I am love with everything about Italy. Nevertheless, I think what Spanish transmits is something beyond understanding. Spanish is spoken in countries where things are so diverse and owned by their speakers that you can see all the colors while you travel among the countries.
Italiano è proprio bello, but it lacks that expansion factor that makes Spanish more beautiful to me. I still love both though, and all Latin languages are so beautiful. Brazilian Portuguese is 🤩.

I'm Czech, I'd say I'm already quite fluent in English and I'm currently learning Spanish. I really like that language, it is quite easy to understand, because of the pronunciation being similar to Czech, and knowing English and having some basic knowledge of French definitely helps. What is not easy about are the tenses. Nevertheless I love the sound and the cadence of Italian even more than Spanish, but I chose first to learn Spanish, because it's more useful around the world. Maybe I'll learn Italian when I've known Spanish well.

I am from New Zealand,am studying Italian because I have an Italian granddaughter that I would like to speak to in Italian- I am finding it difficult because of how fast its spoken and the verbs! But people think we speak English too fast too, compared to Americans we do. This is a wonderful learning channel, I love the fun of it.
