Every language becomes rational when you know it. You start to focus on the words and the meaning instead of the sound of it. French for me sounds very melodic because of the accent at the end of the words and all the liaisons.

Yes, Slavic languages are difficult to tackle. It takes us, native speakers of them, on average from 10 to 14 years to master them. We have quite complex grammar. ut Russian isn't the hardest since all exceptions are neatly organized in groups. Whereas for example in Polish exceptions are not organized in any way, so they just have to be memorized and language has to be spoken the way it's spoken and that's it. And this is of course involves a lot of memorizing and a lot of speaking and following error and trial method along the way.

As an American English speaker, we have the most blunt form of speaking I've ever heard. It's so direct, lacks nuance, even our accents (I mean the USA is the size of Europe so accents very extremely but) are very direct

Of those I found I enjoy Spanish the most beautiful when it comes to conveying emotion. Of course, that could just be familiarity since I don't know the other languages as well.
I seem to like Norwegian culture a lot because it reminds me of a certain type of American lifestyle.
