    I've been following more European channels and , woah, learning about other's cultures and getting excited at how other places appreciate and care more for the environment is a breath of fresh air. Especially compared to the culture here in the US! Thank you for sharing your life with us. ❤😊

    It's been a couple of years now Lia and I'm so glad I found your channel. I love visiting you in your room. I miss your cooking videos. I love to go travelling with you and on your walks and bike rides in the forest and your swimming in the lake. I think you're a wonderful person. I wish you happiness and good health in the new year. ❤🍝🍷🍰🍀

    Happy New Year! Loved this video. I think it’s really humble and courageous of you to accept that your businesses weren’t working how you needed them to, and that you are doing a different job. Seems like everyone projects the idea there’s only one way to be successful in sharing online content, and I appreciate you being honest about the benefits of working for someone else. Take care, and wishing the best for you and your family in 2024!

    I’m reading ‘A Long Way…’ too at the moment. I think you would enjoy Becky Chambers ‘Monk & Robot’ novellas. They are very chill and philosophical too. Something you said earlier in the video about spending time doing nothing instead of needing to complete tasks so much had me thinking about what ‘purpose’ we have.

    Thank you for your wonderful videos and being here on TH-cam 🥰 always a pleasure to watch about your life and ideas. I consider you to be a success when it comes to content creation, honestly, because if you are authentic with what you do and happy with your life and not compromising with your beliefs - it's a true victory :)

    My English is bad, I don't understand everything, but I like watching. It would be great if it had subtitles

    • @ecofriendlia
      @ecofriendlia  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      You can click the subtitle icon. Then you get english subtitles. You can also use auto translate, then you can choose a language and TH-cam translates it for you. That ususally works well 😊

    I just bought a book by Becky Chambers today. I read Psalm for the wild build last month and got the second book in that series today. Let us know how you like her book 📚

      Psalm for the Wild-Built was one of my faves from last year. I also really like the one you got for Christmas @ecofriendlia - you may know but it’s part of a series. I’ve read 2 so far and really enjoyed them!

    Lia, do you wear this sweatshirt in the warm taupe, cedar brown, or a different color by colorful standard? I’m interested in getting some of their products!

    • @ecofriendlia
      @ecofriendlia  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This is cedar brown! As a rule, I would say all their colors are a bit cooler in real life than they look online but of course, it also depends on your screen 😊

    suggestion for your "green" moment: instead of keeping the entire book, transpose the passage into a notebook/phone notes ?

  • @alonememe

    Lia, this link leads to main page on Colorful Standard. Which sweater exactly do you have? Women Classic Merino Wool Crew, Organic Oversized Crew or Women Light Merino Wool Crew? And what size do you have?

    Just curious to know what type of social work requires wearing slippers 😅 I’m a social worker at a special needs school, but I can wear whatever I want ☺️

    • @ecofriendlia
      @ecofriendlia  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      We just don't wear the shoes we wear outside at the workplace. So it's either socks, slippers or other shoes 😊 and in Germany people then usually wear slippers...
