I new a guy that had property infested with ticks. He would fence in sections of the property to let the chickens out to free range and it didn't take them long to pick the land bare. It was awesome until they found a way into the garden and his wife's flowerbeds. LOL A friend has chickens & ducks and hers love to be held. I guess she held them a lot when they were small. HUGS~Donna
lol, they wiped out the garden and flowerbeds quickly too I bet! Mine are covered in plastic for the winter...there will be a fence come spring. I traumatized mine when they were babies I think. They associate me with food and being captured. Ha.

I don't know about chickens crossing the road, but I helped a small dessert tortoise cross the road a couple of days ago.
First one I ever seen here.
Why did the tortoise cross the road? Ha. How fortunate for you and the tortoise. Are they large?
@@persuethedream9862 This one was about a foot in diameter. I have read they get up to 15 inches. They live about 80 years.
