I don’t know if it’s sound design, mixing, etc but Bad Computer’s stuff always sounds so crisp clear and punchy. All the synths and kicks are so perfectly suited to the songs
ya its both imo, as a producer I am always in awe and confusion when it comes to trying to figure out how he gets the clarity he gets lol the whole frequency spectrum is filled and balanced perfectly, his vocals are always mixed sooo well, the songs sound good on all of my systems (car, house, headphones, mono bluetooths). His artistic choices are fascinating as well, he doesn't follow the typical song structure, and his thoughts are super unique and original but too far to make it weird. Overall a really great musician
