- On with our Roadtripping Europe series! Join Allison and Eric Bieller from the US on their road trip in an electric campervan. This time the couple from the US is on the road around Italy's largest lake - Lake Garda. Olive groves, crystal clear water, and pretty towns make the lake an internationally popular vacation spot. Eric and Allison visit the idyllic peninsula town of Sirmione with its 14th century moated castle and sample delicious Italian ice cream.

So weird to not hear the "Goodbye Adventurers"! haha. But great videos, as always.
On our first trip to Italy more than 20 years ago we visited Lake Garda. What we didn't know is we'd caught a train to Desenzano but our hotel was booked in Riva. It was the middle of winter so there was limited transport to the other end of the lake so we panicked a bit. But we found a car rental and it was one of the best decisions ever. It is such a great drive around the lake and Riva, even in the middle of Winter, was awesome. We had our first Italian style hot chocolate there - full of thick chocolatey syrupy goodness. And nobody around. We were the only guests in a huge hotel near the lake.

I lived right beside that lake for 3 years, and Sermione was by far my favorite small town in Italy. I miss my favorite restaurant from there, but Desenzano by far had the better Gelato along with our favorite pizza and gelato shop that we used to live next to in Lonato.
I will plan in next summer

European campgrounds are so advanced compared to America.
Oh, really? Is camping in the U.S. easy and do that many vacationers?
@@DWTravel Campgrounds are everywhere but facilities are nowhere near as good. I've never been to one with a private bathroom on site.
@@Mr1wd Ok, but this is also really not the standard on campgrounds in Europe. This one was special.
In Canada many of our campgrounds have extra amenities like bears 🐻 🤪

Charge time is ridiculous fill up gas tank in minutes the electric vehicle stuff is a joke and the environmental impact from manufacturing to electric requirements to the ultimate disposal of the vehicle is far greater than gas vehicles this green garbage is a joke
Yes you are right. Unfortunately we will not have a choice in the future. Our overlords have already deemed it so...you must comply. The "green new deal" is just a way to create the new Rockefellers, Carnegies, and Morgans. It will have no impact on the environment. The road to hell is always paved with good intentions.
Can you image charging station every 200 miles thru US western states?
It's a crime that you upload on 1080p. These guys can shoot really great stuff that are a joy to watch on a larger screen.
