i kinda by accident came across lakota story-telling a few months ago and immediately was enamoured with iktomi-stories. this man is such a treasure-trove. thank you, grandfather.
Such a great story! I only wish we got to hear the reaction of the warrior leader when he realizes that Iktomi defeated the enemies while they were gone.
What fun!!?? I am listening to your stories grandfather at sunrise. I have laughed so much. Thank you for this early morning pleasure to set the tone for my day. Living in graditude with you & for you. Blessings, your sister Xavienne
I love stories. My Grandparents used to tell stories. Every culture has stories. What a wonderful way to get to know each other. The simple beautiful things that a people do cannot be replaced by anything else. Stories are in the hearts of everyone. They in my opinion are one of the more beautiful things about Humanity.
It's good to see you teaching. I found this video because of looking for answers to a dream I had involving inktomi. You probably wouldn't remember me. The last time I saw you was about 2002. You, Albert and I believe your wives were in a lodge with me out at Chub's place. Anyway, it would be good if I could speak to someone. I'm living in Phoenix....no Lakota around here.
Great story...:-). Truth be told...it's not quite that easy to get animals on board..lol But, once you overcome that...the animals, insects, sea life, plants and trees , they will always be there when you need them...:-)
I'm learning about Native American culture atm for one of my (by so far known to me) spirit guides is Dakota. I enjoy these stories so much, brings warmth to my heart and helps me connect more with my guide(s ?)

Hello Hollow Horn Bear. Indian Angels came to me when I was a child. Wanted Justice for the Indian people. Many Red men and women with God.
What are you saying???! Indians ain’t red. Different shades of brown, and fluffy. Like frybread.
@@andjunglepunkthirteen760And they ain't from India💀

My mom might be iktomi . She’s scary.
There was this one white guy with a half grown turtles around his neck. People ask what does he have. Funny.
