One simple has the better team so the pick and roll is respected more when it’s set on K. 1v1 Chavez is much better and played through a lot of contact done by k. Coach for Chavez didn’t help her out to much. And bad not adjusting the pick and roll you can’t go under the screen on a shooter. Great video.
Special K guarded Chavez the whole game on defense baiting her to force shots and take contested shots. On offense she distributed the ball to her to teammates and took her shots when she had them not forcing anything .From what I watched special k as a basketball player is complete with high iq . Chavez got to learn to give it up to get it back especially when all the focus is on you . The real dawg out there is #12 Griffith she does it all

Special K's team is just better hands down from the looks of this video! That doesnt take away the awful shot selection by chavez, she definitely couldve made better choices but shes a DOG no matter what! Chavez is an elite scorer that can erupt for 30 if she turns it on. But lets be honest, Special K is a once in a lifetime pure point gaurd thatll dish out 10 assist EASILY and have a very loud 20 as well, shooting above 50 percent. You cant find a team with this type of player this often.

K seems like a more complete player. She gets her teammates involved. Chavez is selfish and tries to do it all herself. That's not a winning formula. College teams want to win and pick players they think will lead to that.

Sydney Douglas is only a freshman and is 6'7. She already can handle the ball for someone her size for her age. And her vision is solid. She can stretch the floor and knock down threes. And shes only going to get stronger and shes going to get better. And she doesnt graduate til 2028. Thats crazy. Shes ranked #5 in her class but i expect her to reach the top 2 by her junior year if she keeps improving. And if she gets those stronger and gets her hips strong. She'll be dunking with ease before college. Thats insane bro. Shes a Point Forward for sure!!!

@ I’m not tripping. She is very good but the players at the next level in major conferences are big and fast at her position. Flair and excitement while shooting 3s is great if those shots go in and your team is winning. I’ll take Griffin making pull-up jumpers from mid range and bodying her man off the dribble going left and right for the and one. Griffin will thrive with contact at the college and pro level because she has next level speed, handles, the physicality to score with contact and a mid range jumper. I’ll take her all day, you can keep the flair and flash.
Totally agree watched Aliyah play a few times now talent is there but the her shot selection won’t work @ the next level she can be way more efficient & 1st time hearing of special k, looks small and takes bad shots but looks quick, she can get good looks but needs too knock shots down consistently
You tripping k is special. Court vision and iq is really high. Tati and k fit well together. This team is special to say they are so young. It's only 2 seniors on this team. K reminds me of and old school point guard.

The other is on a middle of the road public girls basketball program that would struggle to make the playoffs without Aaliyah yet she has put them on her back and has them number one in the state for their classification.
