I love watching this video. I'm currently in the hospital being monitored. I was having contractions at my doctors visit and the babies heartrate dipped during the contraction so they wanted to monitor me overnight. But I'm 35 weeks and 3 days today. I'm expecting to be sent home today though bc the night went well. I'm just waiting for my doctor to come by.
Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! I detect a slight feeling of guilt for not having a natural birth. DON'T!! I had also taken the Bradley classes and what I didn't like about them, was that they made you feel somewhat less of a mother if you hadn't achieved an unmedicated birth. This attitude does cause unnecessary trauma to many. So sorry your epidural didn't work right away. But it looks like it did help you avoid a cesarean. That's a win! For quite a number of women, the epidural makes it possible to relax and dilate and finally progress. It can be a very good thing, and isn't an epidural nap just the most heavenly rest enabling you to fully enjoy the baby's final arrival? I am sorry your pregnancy was cut short and robbed you of the final weeks of nesting. At the same time, you were spared some of the inconveniences characteristic of that last stretch, which is a silver lining, I guess. God bless! Ps. Your hair looks so pretty!
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I definitely felt guilt for a long time but have finally gotten over it since having my second and getting an epidural again! I also learned with my second that the last weeks of pregnancy are just not fun 😂 Thanks again!
I'm 33 weeks and i can't wait. I haven't been uploading alot either
I love hearing your experience and how positive you were! I think I may be going through the same Situation! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much - attitude is everything! Wishing you the best with your delivery!
