Completely useless for me so far. Takes too long to trigger. I slapped it on Glen Rice and made 7 threes in a row still didn't activate.
you are getting boost even after one made shot
I think the different levels of cards determine the length of the Boost
Ive been waiting for an official explanation of shows and takeover from 2k. Wish they would shed some light on all of it
Ya, so there are different abilities for Takeover as well! For example Marksmen Take could be deep bomber, or it could be Spot it. Or it can be for Moving shots. Same with finishing. Dunking Takeover has blow by, or it could be for meter dunking, or layups.

Yeah the new shoe system is a fat L. I do however wear them but I don’t go out of my to get them or the takeovers. You never know when it’s going to come in handy

It’a strange. It looks like they tried to stop you putting a 3pt shoe on Wilt, for example.
Like you have to match it up to what a player is already at least good at to gain the boost.
I like the idea, but like almost everything else this year, the implementation is lacking competence. It’s just a bit underwhelming and not very well explained.
For me, I’ve learned that assist rebounds and block speed up takeover meter faster than scoring
It takes forever to even trigger the takeover, most games I dont get it at all and then when it does kick in it only upgrades 3 stats at most.
I wonder if Boosts also give you Badges. Like, the Gold "Satellite" Boost gives you a temp "Limitless Range" Badge, while the Bronze "Make it Rain" Boost gives you "Set Shot Specialist" & "Slippery Off-Ball" Badges?
I bet that's what's happening. It'll have to be tested but that would make sense with the way it's worded
Played current and old gen. Turns out old gen it’s easier to get takeover and almost impossible on current
Yeah old gen isn’t that bad either I downloaded it today u get takeover quick I just don’t like u can’t adjust the shooting like on next gen and old gen got regular triple threat online so that’s a win

Keep in mind the rep level ups starting at emerald give 12x diamond shoes and I've found a lot of great bronze 3-pt takeover badges for 250 MT to 500 MT in the auction house

Props for the update video. I agree they are not that valuable, but the pricing in the auction house is already reflective of that. I just wish they had more actual value so they could be more useful in game and also have another part of the auction house we could actually work for profit

This is why it Benefits to learn/play every mode not just myteam. If you all tune into the whole game and not just one mode. Little things will be less confusing.

This actually is a smart system because you requires some type of actual skill to activate. Not just slap a shoe on a lower rated 3pt shooter and they just hit whites all game on me because of it!!

Yeah I'm confused on the gold silver and bronze what's the difference because the bronze has really good stats too. But they are super cheap in the auction house

Its not as good because it takes a min to get takeover in this 2k 🤷🏽♂️ but i think its boosting a lil bit til u get takeover like with your myplayer it doesnt show take til u get level 5 but each level boost something
I dont understand this. Please explain me. I have diamond shoe with 3pt takover ...And what? I musy Press something , to activate? I must do something to Press and activate, or there is a automatic activate. And how long this effect make place? Please explain me this more specific. ❤
