Examples of them would be: Sandalwood, Frankincense, Fig, Oud, Musk, etc.. At least for me. My favorite sandalwood, currently, would have to be 24 rue de l'Université by Yves Saint Laurent. An absolute emersive and meditative sandalwood. Makes me feel like a walking aromatherapy candle. Keep up the good work.

Just a heads-up for anyone traveling to Dubai: they have one, maybe two more bottles (50 and 100) of DVN at the Dubai mall's Frederic Malle shop. You will need to buy two fragrances to get it free but if you want it and you're around the area def go check them out. This is my winter staple right here: incredibly warm gourmand that people will notice.

It's definitely there. Have you smelled Sandalwood essential oils by itself? Often times we have to train our nose to smell certain things. What are you getting moat of?

It’s settled a bit so I do get the creamy sandalwood but it’s subdued compared to the last time I smelled it. What I took to the the supporting elements are more prominent than the sandalwood. I don’t have the oil but I have an attar of Mysore sandalwood. The sandalwood in Richwood is nowhere near as potent.
