I was anticipating something incredible at the end, but an entire art gallery showcased as his different eras. I’m so hyped for his relationship with the ghouls despite it only being a Photo Booth drawing that we get. It’s fitting but now I’m obsessed with how the characters would’ve interacted. Beautiful little piece of story for the viewers! The editing of him transforming was sick too ❤

I like the idea of him and Ember being childhood friends. I could also see them as a couple, but they seem more playful than romantic, so maybe they tried being a couple, but realized they were better off as friends and still have a great relationship
Heathcliff's expression looks like he just told an awful joke and is waiting for the punchline to hit 😂 I love his cheeky smirk, it looks fantastic!!

Heathcliff turned out so amazing. I love the slight anachronism in his outfit, like he went, "I wear what I want from whatever timeperiod I want as long as it is goth enough!"

The choice to use grey for the sclera was SO CLEVER. It really gave him the right shadowy figure vibe. That's one of my favorite things about your work - the little choices and details that seem simple enough in isolation, but when put together give your dolls so much depth.

The angling and lighting for his expression at 15:43 made me instantly think of the phrase "Aww come on, don't tell me you're scared?" Then his eyes did the glow thing right on "scared". The walk down the hallway and then pinning up the photo booth pic with Ember and the banshee was so cute. He’s like the hip younger brother of Nadja from What We Do In The Shadows. I love this!

First of all, I have to point out that when he hangs upside down, the coattails frame his body in such a way that they look like wings. Unintentional? If so, what a perfect coincidence! I love that this year you decided to do a male doll, just to keep things fresh, and he fits right in with the other girls, especially Kay Wren and her spooky-whimsy outfit. Also, those portraits from the end are so cool and an amazing way to show his character! Another knock-out doll!

I love, love LOVE the shoes. It really elevates his outfit and gives a much more modern feel to the design. Its like a young adult vampire from the 18th or even 19th century discovered Nike and is like "hey, these match my clothes!"
The accidental line gives him more character. Like he has a scar!

I actually love the line you pointed out. It looks like an old scar! Like maybe in his "younger" days, he had a tussle with a vampire hunter and managed to save himself, and now him and the hunter are like bffs and have coffee outings every Thursday ^-^

this fully reinforces the vampire obsession/researching i had in like July was absolutely worth it. my favorite vampire trait is arithmomania aka "i have to pick up/count the tiny things you've thrown at me and i can't stop until I'm done or someone gets me to stop." so, living on the beach is probably your best vampire prevention method. :)

I don't comment often but I _have_ to now, because the art student in me is reeling over how you were able to paint him in all those different styles and not only have the time periods all be recognizable but also still have him be totally recognizable every time?? Okay but the combination of classic vampire ascetic and modern punk/goth vibes is immaculate. I feel like ancient vampires are played up to be these stuffy- stuck in their way characters - but if vampires are supposed to be apex predators they need to be able to adapt! Blend in. And all that jazz. A wonderful character! And I love the clip of him walk down the hall of many pictures! ❤❤❤
the portaits from different eras at the end are so good!! it's a such a good story telling device and each era is done so well, really grabbing the essence of the styles!!
the mouth sculpting portion reminding me a lot of the banshee's video! made me realise just how much more confident Katherine's been getting with her sculpting

with the way you’ve cut into so many dolls, i’m surprised you haven’t done your own take on frankenstein’s monster :O i love watching the fine line you balance between your fine sculpting (like the mouth + teeth) and your move-fast-break-things solutions (like carving a big ol hole in the skull)
This doll was finalized with all the right choices. The kicks, the modern coat with old school touches, the smirk. It's perfect.
I love him, he looks like he'd be a tries-to-be-serious villain from an awesome cartoon but actually is kinda goofy and dorky and helps the heroes in the end (I adore him) 💅✨

The photoshoot for this particular doll went above and beyond, you brought out all his best features and kept the drama about it!
Anytime i see an imperfection in the plastic/paint of a doll, i just think "SCARS!" cause scars are super cool and add a ton of character and backstory 😊

this is probably my favorite face-up and face modification you've ever done. given, its more simple than a lot of your other dolls, but still the smirk and the way you drew his eyes and his brows are just so good I am absolutely in love with him. the open mouthed smirk and the teeth really just complete it.

omg. when you started airbrushing I went "oh no! Katherine didn't give him pointy ears!" out loud, and when you mentioned it and fixed it before painting him, I squealed with happiness! I love his design! He reminds me so much of what I used to love about monster high (specifically Draculaura), combining classic Victorian clothing pieces with modern street fashion and giving the whole thing EDGE! I‘m in love with your vampire boy!
Its cool revisiting this after watching the banshee video, seeing how you used similar techniques for the open mouth sculpts feels like coming full circle. Your halloween dolls are some of my favourites of yours, always gets me in the spooky spirit ^.^

I’m obsessed with how you make the outfits so complex and layered on so small a scale! It’s something I always struggle with when making custom doll clothes. As someone who is professionally trained in garment construction and alterations (for human sizes lol) “lining clothes is hard and I’m not good at it” at 11:27 is a whole mood trust me none of us want to line sleeves either lol. Lining the sleeves for my kitsune doll made me want to throw my sewing machine out of the window
My heart rate increased exponentially as soon as I saw the thumbnail and I gasped when I saw the final concept art. I wish I owned his outfit in my size, it is exactly my aesthetic. He is SO GORGEOUS, a wonderful mix of classic vampire, punk, and a little cute smirk ❤️ I want to try the tooth technique myself now. I also want to design a messy 80s vampire. And the pictures of him and Ember would be such an adorable print!!!!
Oh my, I love him dearly. I have to admit, I was partial to his 80's poofy hair myself, but I do see your vision and still adore it as well. I would absolutely LOVE to see you do an 80's glam/hair metal boy, though! Metal is one of my major hyperfixations, and 80's glam/hair metal just doesn't get the representation and appreciation that it deserves

I actually love how the crack on his face kind of looks like a scar. It's as if his victims fought back while he was trying to drink their blood and now he's got a battle scar and a lopsided smile.
I love him!!!!! It's great to have another masculine Halloween doll. The doll dentures are so funny, but they really turned out incredible! His face is so lively in the photos. He is very pale but I think it works-- being washed out by black happens to real goths, too 😂. I'm sure he thinks it looks cool. Also I love the art you make to support their backstories. It's so much work but obviously a labor of love
