We are absolutely honored to have Fiona from @FionaArt guest with us and of course provide the challenge to do her famous reverse flower dip- or any flower like she does. It was time to dust off my paints and break out my notes from PourCon where I was able to take a class from her. If you are in North America, Fiona did a complete video using N Am products and you too can try your hand at this technique. Please see the link below. I followed her process for PM and consistency.

Paints used-
Vallejo Pearl Medium
Amsterdam-Titanium White, Prussian Blue Phthalo
Deco Art Extreme Sheen- Aquamarine, Sapphire

I had a feeling you were going to pull a on the edge of your seat one and you did! The second one was beautiful! I loved your colour palette and that Deco Art Aquamarine!! You did Fiona proud. Beautiful darling! ❤
Thank you so much!! It was a nail bitter for ME! Sheesh. I’m going to do more for sure
Cool 😎 blue vibes.
Excellent artwork Kim.

Kim, all you ladies are so beautiful and graceful when you paint.
Thank you so much Byron. It is always great to see you in the chats. Yo are so kind and supportive
Wow, superb artwork dear Kim.
Thank you so much my dear Antara. ♥️
What a beauty Kim, those blues are beautiful. So jealous you took Fionas class. You learned first hand. I was shocked too at how it develops as it dries, like magic. You did amazing.❤
You are soo sweet Michelle. Isn’t it HARD?!? Everytihg looks soo easy and yet…the struggle is real. The developing of the painting IS magic. It’s amazing. Big hugs to you 💙💙💙
Your painting is stunning! 😍 I love the blue colors. 💙🩵 How fortunate you met the talented artist Fiona. I still haven’t mastered her flower dips!🌸 When I go to thrift shops or Dollar Tree these days, I’m always looking for cups or vases with lots of indentation - precisely for this technique! It turned out GORGEOUS!!!
Keep shining beautiful!!!🌟✨🌟✨🌟🤩
Thank you Krissy. Fiona makes it look easy and it IS if the stars and moon align 🤣. Fiona is also the nicest person every. Soo sweet. Keep you eyes peeled at the Dollar Tree - but you can also cut the bottom off a soda bottle.
@@KimsKreations Ohhh!!! Great to know!!! Thanks so much Kim!!! 💫🌟👏🏼👏🏼🩵🩵🩵
Absolutely gorgeous work my friend thanks for sharing friend
Many thanks Ronak! 🎉
The second on developed beautiful Kim! It's lovely on the wall. But, bring it back in. It's hot out there in the sun! 🤣🤣
Hahahaha. It IS hot out there now. Not to worry it’s back inside in the AC. 😄
Awesome work💖💞💖💜💕👏💜❤💞💖💜❤💞❤💞❤
Thank you so much Raheel! This is one of my new favorites
This is beautiful, Kim. I love the array of blues!! The flower did develop beautifully!!
That was the miracle part Holly! I almost scraped it!
Such an amazing painting technique. Thanks for showing us how it was done. I really enjoyed watching the process. Love how the colors blend together. Have a great week, Kim.
Thank you so much Gaspar! soo glad you enjoyed this video
It's lovely Kim! Great colors and I love how it developed!
Riiight - the developing was like watching magic happen. I almost scraped this one just like the first one before the magic occurred!
Kim, Love those blues! Isn't crazy how much these change as they develop and dry?! Turned out great!!
YES! I was about to scrap the second one too but I let it sit and did others… in the end I decided it was keeper- feeeww.
I can’t wait to see this hun! I’m hoping to be around for this one! Excited to see what you create! 🎉❤
I hope you like it. 😅🫰🤞
The suspense when you were lifting the paper! I think it looks really cool ❤ reminds of marigold flowers. Interesting technique Kim ❤
Hum - Marigolds in blue. I like that Lina! Thank you
Wow the second one is beautiful. Its a learning moment and see if the experiment worked.
For SURE!! Practice, learn, tweak till you get what you are after!
Beautiful 😊😊😊
Thank you! I appreciate you coming to check out this collaboration ☺️
Kim! 👏 Loved watching this in replay! I love your humour throughout 😂❤😊 I thought you did amazing! I had the same experience the one time i tried bubble wrap! 😅 but it developed soo nicely! Well done, hunny! You aced it 👍 😍
Oh thank you!! I think we all pretty much hated using the bubble wrap 😆. Stick with what works right?!? Sure hope you feel better tomorrow!
This turned out amazing Kim love those blues 😍
Thank you sooo much Tonja! I’m going to have to keep doing these - perhaps in sunset colors 🧐
@@KimsKreations oh that sounds really pretty, I love that idea. you need to post in community so I can see how it went or do another video 🥰🥰🥰
You did great. I know how hard these are to do.
Thank you so much Linda! I love that you feel the pain and angst . LOL
Kim this is so pretty. I have not done this but will real soon. ❤❤❤
Please try it and if you don’t succeed at first - know that we ALL did many tries.
Very nice ❤❤😊😊
Many many thanks
So cool how it developed after a few minutes. I wonder if the first would have done that? Great job!
Good question- and we will never know! 😂. That first one was a hot mess!
Beautiful Kim! Not tried the bubble wrap and I don’t think I will😂. Your piece came out delicate….love the effects!
Try it be definitely stay away from the bubble wrap. I think Fiona is the only one who successfully made it work. Bubble wrap is evil. 😈
😂😂😂. I have a niece wanting to try it…so I guess I’ll be jumping in the deep end…lol
