I think you are doing the right thing with little Frieda, even though it is very difficult to leave her by herself. I'm sure that she will get used to it in no time and you will be able to leave her for longer periods of time without worry.

I know, been there, done that. I still get anxious when we get thunderstorms because I know she doesn't like them. They are still like family and we worry.
Oh I hope Frieda gets used to you leaving. My neighbors (the only neighbors I have as I live in rural New Zealand :P) got a puppy for Christmas. How do I know? It howls and howls for hours on end when left alone.
Well, I would NEVER leave a little puppy alone! But Frieda's old enough now to spend a little time by herself and understand that it's not the end of the world.
Oh my Gawd, my shoes are TRAVESTIES! I'm pretty much walking around barefoot. WHY do I not shop for shoes? I'm perfectly OK with all other kinds of 'pragmatic' shopping ... but not shoes!

I did a little trimming, but I think she really needs a visit to a professional groomer. I'm trying to work up the courage to tell her. She's NOT going to like it.
