you gotta love how these media analysts & sports analysts keep ignoring or pretending like the top teams in the WNBA like Connecticut Sun, Las Vegas Aces, New York Liberty or the Dallas Wings don't exist. they really think Indiana fever is a good team & think they will make the playoffs this season

They're ignoring who people currently don't care about. CC is drawing eyes, therefore, she gets media coverage. Wemby was 22-60, but people still talked about him. Quit your jealousy and realize that more eyes on Caitlin mean more eyes on other teams as well and that will have an effect. Just like eyes on Tiger Woods drew eyes to every other player and their paydays tripled in a few years.

I love Caitlin, but why is this all about Caitlin. Nobody is talking about how well the team did without Caitlin on the floor. They weren't perfect, but their energy was tangilble the whole game. That's what kept them in the game. They are gonna win games like this in the future. Boston will play better as she gets back in shape. Smith finally had a descent game Fagbenle is a great spark and Kelsey Mitchell showed why she an all-star. That backcourt of Mitchell and Clark is gonna be TOUGH!! With those 2, i think they need to start Fagbenle. This team doesn't need 2 post up bigs at the same time. They need one that can run the floor and scrap for rebounds, especially offensive rebounds because Clark and Mitchell are scorers... they shooting!😂
Seriously, look at the whole team part night. Katie Lou was solid as usual, Wheeler took better care of the ball and play good d, Wallace gave quality minutes on both sides of the floor. This team has the talent. Let's allow them some grace and just enjoy watching them grow!

Somewhat disagree with the comparison. You can't be touched while shooting a jump shot so as long as you know you won't get blocked the result is completely on you. You are almost always playing through contact when shooting layups and due to varying levels of contact results can be hard to predict. Naturally the percentage on layups will be higher due to proximity to the rim, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's an easier shot, at least not always.

Don't defend Boston. It was the game tying bucket for that moment and she couldn't do it. Any other time would be ok. Ask her, she knows that bucket could have been the difference. Once she missed they had to foul to see if there was a chance.

This is obvious as the noon-day, they miss layups and bunnies because THE RIM IS TO HIGH. On layups and put backs their release point is below the net. It need to be at 9 feet in all levels of women's basketball across the world. 9.5 wouldn't be enough and 8 feet would be to much. 9 feet is percect. If they did that this league would take off.

Abso freakn lutely! IF it wasn't for CC they're still in the gutter flying economy, and there arent 13 to 18k buying tickets. Yet you have some women players that this just goes over their heads as they go for CCs head lol, not too bright. Theyd better hope nothing happens to her as in a bad injury or theyll as in the WNBAwill be right back where they were in no time. Despite it all CC is always gracious and respectful, carries herself well and it lends to her endorsements. The league just wasnt exciting, miss alot and do layups fine. So there is no dunking, now you have a player that adds some excitement with her insane shooting and passing. It is what it is.

We underestimated the hate of the vets and the broadcasters like on this video.
Success in this “for profit” business is measured by entertainment value, merchandise, TV deals and butts in seats. Not championships if no ones watching.
I see that it should not be easy for Caitlin or excuses made.
But this league should know where the movement is coming from and it’s not from your existing players. She IS the one responsible for chartered flights and sold out arenas. That’s a fact.
If nobody watches your championships you’re disrespecting yourself and not making the game interesting.
She’s her own movement. You are disrespectful by calling her a moment and not a movement.
The spotlight is not shared. This is equity not equality. Nobody watched these amazing players you think should share the spotlight. It’s.been proven by the viewership.
Did Michael Jordan or Steph Curry have to “share” the spotlight to highlight how good their peers were because no one paid attention to them? Really?
Stop trying to force the equality and build equity instead.. Caitlin will bring everyone up organically. You can’t force everyone to like everyone else as much as her. I think that’s what is called “thirsty.”
