Just look up the bpm/tempo of the song and the listen to the song lmao. And ultimate guitar shows you where the chord changes in the song. But this is definitely a very helpful video just not in the way you said it is.
We've asked for this song so long I had to watch three separate videos on other channels to make a Frankenstein version of the song but honestly I'm not sure if I'm playing it right.
In this video of his m.th-cam.com/video/2PKgMHzGrME/w-d-xo.html at 10:09 he plays the intro to Slow Dancing in a Burning Room so he clearly knows the song
Been loving all your lessons. I'd like to also thank Eric for the amazing vocals 😮. He sings so good it's hard to stay focused on the lesson. Awesome cover of an awesome song 👏
Amazing tutorial with instructions, tab and play through - the best I have ever seen, thank you!!! If anyone struggles with their little finger (mine is bent from a bicycle accident) doing the Gm6 in the Break, just use your first three fingers and only play the same 4 strings as the D. It’s not exactly like the original, but it sounds fine.
I've only recently discovered this song and it's now a favourite. Your tutorial is great. Made it much easier to learn, without trying to work it out myself.
Tip for an easier fingering of the intro: the G in Gm6 can be played on the G string with 0-3 progression, no need to move the finger up to the top E string. I always played it like that and now find the sound of the G on E string not fitting as well...
Hey Piotr, yup you’re absolutely correct. For me though I like playing the low G, especially if just playing solo. I also based my lesson off the acoustic performance and how Thom played it. But you’re absolutely right too! Thanks for sharing
@@GuitarZero2Hero yeah, I used to only play solo before :) And I get it that in the acoustic strumming there's also the Gm6 where you need the low G, so it makes sense to learn how to finger it anyway I guess. Thanks a lot for your reply, and for the lesson! :) BTW, Andy from Andy Guitar also added this song very recently (coincidence?), and uses different tabs, quite a bit easier I'd say - both chord wise and strumming, with fewer variations. Yours are probably more accurate, but for beginners his may be better. He uses the G string in the riff/intro.
Amazing song from an amazing artist. Going to work on this song and hopefully get it down. You guys did an awesome job teaching me how to play fake plastic trees
@@GuitarZero2Hero And i've found one interesting thing in the bridge. In the last line after Em Thom plays not just Gm6 but 4 succesive bass notes. G/E/C/D. If played like one chord Gm6 but changing bass strings and going up two frets like to Dm6 probably, it sounds literally great! Try it )))
In the part where sings this is my final fit My final bellyache Should be done with the intro arpeggio (only the D) this is how Tom Yorke plays it in the live version you mentioned Great video man i learnd it in less than one day thanks to you keep up the work Ps jinsaw fallong in to place tutorial?
You're a great teacher and your playthrough rock! The vocals here are really cool, saying that as a fan of Thom Yorke. I really enjoyed the cover, it had nice vibe that felt genuine with the vocals, not just like an imitation, or an over the top performance. It would be great if you'd do some Kurt Vile songs, which lack good quality & easy to follow tutorials imo, and it's a pity as he's such a cool guitarist...
Hi Dave! I’ve recently started learning how to play the guitar by watching your videos as they’re the only videos that help me. Would it be possible for you to teach a lesson on how to play heart like yours by Willamette Stone? It’s my favourite song and it was the song that inspired me to learn, thank you! ☺
A heart that's full up like a landfill A job that slowly kills you Bruises that won't heal You look so tired, unhappy Bring down the government They don't, they don't speak for us I'll take a quiet life A handshake of carbon monoxide And no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises Silent, silent This is my final fit My final bellyache With no alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises No alarms and no surprises, please Such a pretty house And such a pretty garden No alarms and no surprises (get me out of here) No alarms and no surprises (get me out of here) No alarms and no surprises, please (get me out of here)
Love this, thanks Dave. I’m struggling to find a good tutorial for acoustic of Radioheads ‘Exit Music-for a film’ if you might be able to work your magic to produce one please 🙏🏻 🎶🤘✨

This has to be one of the best songs ever. It has the iconic riff, the rich lyrics and the infectious tune. Another brilliant tutorial, mate. Cheers!
Such a great lesson. Love having the full rundown at the end to play along with as that really helps nail the timing. Great job man.
You’re welcome!
