We have very tight food controls so there's a lot more fruit in our sweets than sugar, and additives flavourings and colours are very limited if indeed ever used now 😋

We can get a snack called funyuns in the UK by a Company called Smiths in one of our stores called 'iceland' not sure if they are same as the US (probably not) but nice though, i love lion bars too and double deckers, crunchie, toffee crisp i also love crumbling flakes over a bowl of ice cream.
There the same as the us ones but there imported from Ireland

The mini cheddars come in bbq as well which is a favorite of mine and salt and vinegar ring is but as you say salt and vinegar is a popular flavor in the uk
I think one time they did a marmite flavour too ,so delicious!
We have all sorts of dips from sour cream and chives, salsa, garlic mayo, ketchup, normal mayo, brown sauce you name it we use it as a dip.
Top 3 of my fav chocolate bars from here in the UK...Starbar...Galaxy Ripple...Wispa Gold.
You guys need to try British pop (soda) we have so many unusual flavours like Dandelion and Burdock, Shandy, Tizer, Lilt, Iron Bru etc. I can't recall if you have tried Iron Bru actually?

Yes we can get Funyuns in the Uk in some places but there Irish imports my kids love them
You can get Crawfords Salt and Vinegar Savouries which are like those fish and chips but with an even stronger flavour, a much larger bag (like 9oz) and a mixture of different whimsical shapes. You'd love them!
The "chew challenge" is from an old advert - can you put a Fruit Gum in your mouth without chewing it? Incredibly difficult, ha ha!
Also, I recommend keeping your Lion bar in the fridge or even freezer so that the toffee layer will snap...

I’ve been vegetarian since I was really young but I’ve always loved prawn cocktail crisps here in Scotland and the UK because they’re almost always vegetarian too. The sizzling king prawn McCoy’s are my absolute favourite and a favourite of many people I’ve known.
When I was much younger and more resistant to its effects, my colleague and I would get a few bags of them to munch on for Saturday morning shifts where we had hangovers and they’d cure it like a miracle.
Sadly they’re hard to find these days where I live but they remain my favourite crisp by far.
I lived off of Fruitella when I was in high school. LOL I bought some from the tuck shop every day. LOL
Swizzles Matlow started in 1928, with Love Hearts and Parma Violets.

Think my top 3 chocolate bars would have to be Boost, Double Decker then Chunky Kit Kat.
Bounty bar especially the dark one, twix, and KitKat
We have Bounty and the Eclairs too.
The Lion bar sounds similar to Mr. Big here in Canada.
Just to confuse matters we also have another type of eclair called a chocolate eclair which you will have to try when you eventually come over here, it's a choux pastry finger filled with fresh cream with chocolate on top 😋 they are what we like to call "naughty but nice" th-cam.com/video/zswOFJZ4vZE/w-d-xo.html (currently 89pence for a pack of 2 at Aldi)

I used to love mini cheddars but sadly with no exercise thou lockdown I have had to give them up to lose some weight along with Irn Bru
Irn-bru xtra is really close to regular and 0 sugar
You guys do dip way more than us; seems to fit better with plainer chips/crisps and we seem to go for more flavours in the crisps themselves.

I think it was because it was mixed/overshadowed by pineapple! hahaha! I was surprised myself!
For me nothing beats Ruffle bars (dark chocolate covered raspberry and coconut), double decker and crunchies as interchangeable 2nd and 3rd.
We tend to only do dips at parties or some sort of big celebrations like Christmas or new year or birthday parties. If I am dipping a plain ready salted crisp or Dorito for instance, I make my own salsa from tomatoes, onion, garlic clove, mint, jalapeños, melon and red peppers (bell pepper) salt and white pepper. Plus a pinch of sugar.
I love dipping mini cheddars in a fondue it's a glorious overload of cheese

Can’t beat the classic dairy milk chocolate bar or caramel!
Favourite choc bar is Crunchie… then all in equal second place 😄Boost; Picnic; Double Decker; Star Bar; Twix; Lion Bar; Bounty; Maltesers…. Oh alllll of them!! Too hard to choose a second place!

the Tyrells Posh Prawn Cocktail crisps are REALLY Good their Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar are excellent and even I can eat their Salt & Malt Vinegar crisps I can't normally stomach any other brands

Top British chocolate bars for me. Bournville which is dark chocolate, 2nd wispa gold. 3rd wispa, 4th Nestle milky bar and way down the list would be a terrys chocolate orange.
When ever I go on holiday crisps don't have the full favor of UK crisps
I think blueberry is more popular in USA whereas here it's blackcurrant
Starburst have brought out some limited edition packaging this summer, instead of "starburst" on the packets it's "opal fruits" and on the back it even has the old slogan "made to make your mouth water" 😂
Always thought opal fruits was a better name than starburst and the lime and lemon flavors were separate
Every crisp brand dosen't have a dip for there crisps except for doritos and laura try an actual mango it's 😋😋👌🏾 truss me.
crisps and snacks, as for value for money, you got the most expensive in the middle fish and chips are cheap along with the onion rings, the middle two are the dearest.
In the uk nearly everything says May contains nuts so we can’t sue manufacturers.
Crisps - those particular flavour Cheddars you already have! I sent you a multipack of them in the Christmas boxes i sent you last year, although I'm not sure they would still be inside the use-by date 🙁 ...the Ringos bring back childhood memories - they used to do salt n vinegar ones as well.
They still do the Salt n Vinegar Ringos - I bought a multipack of them in Tesco's the other day.

Ringos have brought out a bbq flavour OMG soooo good and only 71 calories a bag …win win 😋
Flake is my all time favourite, but can’t have them now, as I’m diabetic😢

No dips with crisps for me some use doritos dips but not for me

If you are buying a passion fruit, it needs to be wrinkly not smooth as the more wrinkly the riper the passion fruit.

one thing i have noticed is that the UK portion crisps less than the US, the UK they fill the bags with enough but not enough to satisfy your craving for a snack, you always want more...
the fish n chips are an old snack but very nice with a cheese dip.
as for dips we have many types, but i prefer a coleslaw and cottage cheese dip or a mixed cheese coleslaw.
we have similar to funions but I think they are just called onion rings and I have only see sour cream and onion ones.
When we have real fish n chips it's got to be lashed with salt and vinegar
No, dips aren't that popular in the UK, we do have them but only on some occasions. Ranch is definitely not a thing at all here.
In Asda there is a brand called Newman's Own, ranch dressing i have no idea if its the same as US ranch though

We don’t get funions, but we get something similar called onion rings. They are similar in texture to monster munch but not quite as rough texture.
