Just received my 2022 AMG 2 weeks ago. Night drive is so amazing with the ambiant lighting. What we see on camera is the half of what it is in real life when you're in driving the car at night. It's so incredible in real life! I learned a lot about the features of the car looking at your videos in the last month while waiting for my car delivery. Thanks!
10 minutes in and those pops and bangs are something else!, I hear it sometimes near my house and it sounds like a gun, when I first heard it I used to get a bit jumpy but now they're music. Excellent quality video
Thanks Ed, the pops seem to get louder every week as I do more miles! Regarding the colours when I first got the car they were a little distracting because I was not used to so much but now I’m used to them they don’t distract me at all, they just give a nice feeling while driving, it’s a really nice environment :)

My wife yesterday drove our 45s on a very icy road right after snowfall. She hadn't any problem with moving even uphill where all cars just got stuck. 4Matic seems to be beyond competition ;)
This car is such a beast and should be so much fun to drive! Glad it makes you so happy every time it's nice to watch haha! Was just wondering, how do you manage to push it and actually have fun because on every roads it tends to be quite frustrating with the speed limits being so low. And you can't really go to enjoy track days too often because it's quite expensive.
The A & CLA interiors are by far the best in their class. Every time I sit inside, it has such a special feeling to it like it’s an occasion. Such a huge improvement compared to the last gen 👏
Agreed! The improvement of the interior especially from this new model compared to the previous model is outstanding. I really like the interior on the new model. Always makes me smile when I enter the car!

Really nice ambient light! But I’m missing the machine gun you got in the C43. Maybe you can do a video as you did in the past installing micro in the rear part of the car to fully listen the sound 🙏🏻

I am sure those truck drivers were very happy waking up because of the exhaust sound of the CLA. Good for them that the exhaust isn't that loud as it would be if it weren't because of the damn European Union. Anyway, very nice car, cannot wait for mine to arrive.. it is already delayed a month.

I will have to take a proper look in the car but I have found the best drive setup I think, it’s not as mad as Race mode but has all the pops so it’s great for a bit of fun on commutes. The pops have seriously got louder now as I’ve done more miles, It was popping like mad on the way home today. I will have a proper look at the setup in my car, I am going to make a video running through it in detail, easy one to make so il try get it up soon.
did you ever figure out a better way for netflix an things to work on this car? im getting one soon an would be nice to have netflix playing while driving or youtube for my passenger on longer trips might to get a bypass or something like the older benz im assuming
Ah yes! I have found a great way to get Netflix, TH-cam etc in the car which also works while driving. I am working on a video for this, if all goes well it will be up this weekend :)

I’ve had that multi colour working since you posted this vid, can you do other colour combos, say green, blue, pink? Is it randomly choosing the colours based upon what colour you initially choose? Great content BTW.
Hey, these were not technically part of the car spec/build. They are a genuine Mercedes part accessory I had the dealer fit on delivery. If you contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer they should stock them or be able to order you a pair.

Hey Fisayor, mine came to just under 64k (pounds) with all the options. The used market is crazy though due to high demand some are up used for almost 70K.
You can get the Burmeister speakers in the 2021 model which are not too bad I enjoy listening to music with them, very loud and good bass. The new 2022 cars come with the very low end base speakers now though due to the semi conductor shortage which I imagine are not great :(
Hey! So far so good first year I haven’t had to spend anything. Two tyres will need looking at in next couple of months and my first service was free as part of the deal from new. You can get a service plan for £40 a month also. Everything’s under warranty too.
Yep! :( Modern cars have pretty good rust proofing though so I’m not too concerned. My main fear is being caught out and having the grit truck shower my car with micro chips, that’s the worst! Happened to me a few times in the past when they were driving it too fast.
It’s not great but pretty amazing for a car with such high horsepower and an engine that loves to rev high. I’m averaging about 23mpg so far. On a long journey though it can easily cruise at 30mpg. Race mode can be 11-15mpg though 😅

These ones are under the doors. They don’t come standard but they are a genuine Mercedes part that the dealer included for me on collection.

I think your C43 sounds way better when you give some gas, this just roars and thats it no bang and loud pops..
They are certainly very different cars, I do love the V6 growl but still really enjoy the CLA45s noises. Both are great!

This one has the 8 Speed DCT, It’s super quick and responsive
