Am diaspora thought of coming back home after 30 years but unfortunately i cancelled my plans. I would say due to KRA pushing from different sides . As per demands i submitted all requirements IDF COC Bank Transfers amount exactly as per the invoices .The first year i made profit and paid all taxes but in second year . i closed because of loss due to KRA . What he did is that, he just revealed to you the whole secret of the "Chines economic success". The truth of the matter is that, you cannot fight this battle this way i.e. deporting Chines as this might harm your future relationship with the Chines people. Pluse if you deport one today, another will come tomorrow, another will bribe here & there to stay in Kenya and the game continues. Below is what i think could help, these are entirely my own opinions:
1. Gov't of Kenya needs to revisit their developmental plans by redirecting most of the funds to industrial/manufacturing sector. Thus, would create extra opportunities to Kenya such as jobs for locals, foreign currency incomes, encouraging local consumption etc.
2. Direct more funds to education and to R&D ( this is one area neglected by many african nations as they do not know it's significant). Let Kenyan people be taught hard core technology to run this sector.
Finally, Any nation that imports goods & services more than exports would soon become poor. I know Kenyans are hard working, intelligent but to be honest, your government is your biggest obstacle at the moment. The government is putting focus on things that does not matter currently such as borrowing loans for stuff like roads etc. Government needs to install a computerized immigration system to record visas and permits. Using paper and pen will only encourage irregularities and bribe. Improve the industrial sector and see if you will not become rich soon. Success is not as hard as people think. It might seems easy to say than to do. But if Chines and other nations could come up within 2 decades time, why not Kenya? Discipline and determination are the two major ingredients of success. Stop fighting the wrong battles such as visa, permits etc.

Zimbabwe chased white farmers thinking they would benefit from land. But they could not manage it and there currency lost value. Leave the Chinese alone.
