Friends and friendship. Though this may be a big boy's club of who is who, there's something so outstanding that it's nothing to do with money and ambience, it's about genuine friendship. Gracious and doing things that anyone can do. So many times I've felt like I knew Bob personally, rather like Bob knew me personally. He inspires me to live so purposely and my relations to be genuine and real . Enjoy eternity Bob

If you want to attract a good long lasting committed loyal friend(s), please be that good friend you desire. We all want good friends but we dont want to be loyal, available and committed. We want to joy ride and when sh*t happens we scatter faster than lightning. Further, a spouse plays plays a major role on the kinds of friends you keep. On this i give it to Wambui. She allowed and created a great atmosphere at their home for Bob to have a strong support group in friends. Many would have been small minded, selfish and narrow minded. This happens alot to spouses of either gender.

My desire was to meet with Bob and get to do business with him. This has changed my perspective on purpose, friendship, life in general. I know wherever Bob is he is a happy man. Only when you're gone can you truly know what people felt about you, both in their silence and with their words. Rest in Peace and Joy Bob. What an interview. Just watched all the four parts of Remembering Bob and the memorial service today just to combine it all in one. What a man, what a leader, what a life. We have a choice to be what we want to be. My lesson from Bob? How do I make those around me feel - colleagues, my students, my family and so many others....? That is my greatest lesson. And the second? Who are my friends? And finally - living life to the fullest is what I will remember you for Bob. Thank you Bob for your service to Kenya. How I wish half of the Kenyan leaders can learn from you - even if a quarter of it - Kenya would be such a lovely place to live in. My sincere condolences to Wambui, the kids and entire Collymore family and those who knew you closely. Lala Salama.
