Crazy that the former Senate President is thanking people for sticking it out with him and treating him stepping down like his own retirement ceremony. As the SP you should be focused on the overall Senate agenda and mission rather than your own personal goals and activities. The Senate should be impartial and act independently but here you are saying you are stepping down because you failed to follow instructions from the powers that be wtf.

high chance even our own senators are blackmailed or threatened by a foreign "power"...reminds me of a scene from the anime "GATE" where the prime minister resigned, so nations like China, Russia and the U.S won't be able to use the blackmail material they had against him that would allow these powers to have advantage or a grip over his country. Not saying it's the same here, or we should jump into conclusions..., but just saying. With our current situation and a new enemy, it wouldn't be impossible if this man was being blackmailed by someone, given that it is a primary tool of a certain "country"

Sen. Zubiri didn't do anything to protect our WPS. He was the only Senate president who could not accept his demise. Other senators in the past who resigned never showed such outburst despite resignation

Tama si Zubiri - loyal siya sa China at ke Dutete. Not only did he refused to move against POGOs, he outright rejected the AFP Modernization Plan and reduced the AFP budget to a measly sum. He protected Quiboloy and Teves.
Lahat ng utos ni Dutete, Robin Padilla at Bato, sinunod niya. Worse, the Senate under him had the worst performance in the entire PH history. They didn't pass any laws but spent all their time trying to investigate BBM.
