Good information Sir! One thing that caught my attention is that the solar charge controller had to be connected to the battery FIRST...I had envisioned an RV system where the battery would be switched between the solar controller and the auto alternator (when running) for charging. I will have to rethink this!
Maybe consider showing off your system and the math you had to do to get there some day.

One question I thought of is you repeated that the load terminals "could power low wattage devices". But then you plan on connecting a 1000 watt inverter? I guess I'd like to understand what you think "low wattage" is... if this is a 30 amp controller we're talking 12v x 30 amps = 360 watts. Yes? Or did I miss something?
