Pakistani peoples are not very rich like modern countries peoples, that's why they repair the things and use them as long as possible.

The ‘modern’ countries throw them away because labor costs too much to repair them. This is cheap labor so it makes sense to fix them there and other places that don’t pay much.

I work at a dealership shop and I wish that one day we could repair the majority of parts in vehicles. I literally have replaced engines because of simple things to fix like oil leaks. I have also replaced entire dash assemblies because customers see a very tiny blemish on it. Unfortunately Americans got used to the capitalist only new to fix cars approach.

Great workman ship of Pakistani skilled men. I can speak their language, and the cost of this repair of the 2 tail light "set" is equivalvent to around $3 U.S. I believe this is a tail light of a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer, and a pair costs around $200 so the person saves $197. The quality is not bad. I have seen the Pakistani repaired tail lights and those can last quite a bit, maybe not as long as the OEM, but they do last a long time.
Goddamn, labor must be ridiculously cheap there. I wouldn't even get the PET sheets for $3 where I'm from! Not to mention paying a guy for an hour of work.
Are these repaired tail lights properly sealed?
@@AAdab77 Looking at his work I assume if there occured a leakage issue he will have a solution for that as well. They have garnered so much experience they will have a solution for most of the problems. Very skilled.

I find it beautiful how much effort they put into re-using broken parts. Those guys try their best to fully use anything factory made.... not like us in here where we just throw it away and replace it whenever its 'broken'. Love those videos, keep it up guys
In most cases the labour cost to do so would not be worth the effort. Then there is the very large issue about how this would effect liability for insurance purposes.

Wow, just wow. Some tail lights can go for as much as $500 or more brand new. Could make a small fortune selling his rebuilt one in the US.
This work costs 10-20$ per light, also you can buy complete light for 30-40$ from the same place . It's quality might not be as good as OEM but still it's not that bad
I wouldn't be surprised if this is selling in the US or EU in $500 via eBay. Unfortunately he is getting a very small cut.

I am amazed and inspired by watching these Pakistan videos. This shows how humans can use their intellect to the fullest. With probably no more than a 2nd grade education these people can carve out a living and make beautiful things, all while sitting on a dirt floor. Think of what we in the U.S. could do if each one of us would choose a skill that we are GOOD at?

Wow these people understand nothing about the throwaway society they live in. This man isnt working in a sweatshop. He has his own shop. If the US is the greatest country in the world they would at least produce taillights that could be repaired. Instead you pay 1500 for a new taillight everytime it goes out. And it's a sealed one.
