I think the shutting off has to do with the ignition system I believe there is a magnate that runs by a sensor the more speedy bikes have the same prob once they get the magnate set in the right spot they stop shutting down they shut down on rough ground or stopping to fast well braking hard for the turns

great to see you being transparent with it. the cut-off would be a deal breaker. I would offer a free fix for people that bought the previous version, because it is dangerous and unpredictable.
cool, I thought it might be a broken tilt sensor as well...random cutouts, check all your sensors first, hall, tilt, etc.

@@jamesfranko5098 my guess is that the issue only happens at full throttle/peak power and they probably dont have anybody there who is trained enough to get to that level. they should hire a tester for that though!

I feel like a gearbox is what these ebikes are missing. You have to have a bigger motor and higher output batteries because they have to accommodate the entire speed range of the bike. A gearbox fixes that.

not for a dirt bike. a stock sur Ron goes already close to 50mph and you don't want to go faster off road. a two speed transmission could give you best top speed and cruising on high gear and higher torque on low gear. anything more than two speed means it's a gas bike gearbox that was not designed for electric motor
also clutch is useless, even if you dump the clutch you will have less torque than just starting the motor without the clutch at 0rpm
@@geemy9675 I don't align with that belief. I spend significantly more time slipping my clutch, for a smoother response, then I do dumping it. Also in most of the electric motors the last thing you're needing is more torque so using what motor bikes already use would be a non issue to me. Especially if I can choose where that torque is placed. I'm not saying you need a 6 speed or something but 3 might be nice. I'm also thinking more dirtbikes. I have zero experience with the Surron style.

2:30 is pretty much the reason I think electric dirt bikes need clutches. If you hit a bump, run and whiskey throttle it, without a clutch, there is no back up to kill the power to the rear wheel so you’re just sending it in to the nearest tree.

@@shmokeythefatcat for models that exist without a clutch option, that is the next best solution. And I in most cases, it will probably will save you, unless it’s beyond what the brakes are able to be effective with.
you may not have experienced the full power of tis bike, many have reversed sport and eco modes. That is, full power is on the L position rather than the H on the left handle bar switch. The cutting out thing is new to me.

Well crafted? As someone who has raced motocross, my whole life, this bike seems very unpredictable, and like a pile of junk for being brand new. I would say anything but well-crafted.

Have a look at the time x moto bike comes stock at some serious power was made a while ago also has clutch and gears sounds crazy to rev up in neutral
All E bikes need a transmission with 3-5 gears, I’ve ridden both and the clutch adds a whole new element to them.
It doesn't like your pit squid friend holding it wide open in neutral and jamming it through the gears without the clutch. If you keep letting him ride it, pit squid will masterfully find a away to break it and walk it back to you scratching his head. 🤪 That's what pit squid specializes in. Haven't you figured that out yet?

For the price that thing rips even with all the little weird-ass ticks that come along with it once you get that dial then I think It will be a monster. Have the suspension tuned or swap it out with something better that bike would be a beast on the track

I am kinda surprised it didnt break into two pieces. It wound bad going over bumps, but maybe thats just because there is no engine sound drowning every other noise.
Gen2 will be a keeper. All bugs worked out plus a clutch like the TimeXmotot.

Had high hopes, but Nothing could Ever cure my Acute BANDITAHOLICISM 650 inj. Bandit ?, Best bike ever, and I ain't even lying. 58, 59 times more biking joy than in 84, my nearly new Kawasaki 750 turbo, that I Couriered on, and thrashed daily, Lovely, Superb, all that !!!. But Bandit Time, Perfect Storm of Acceleration, sheet, Defies Logic, all at the back wheel ?, Felt like an industrial catapult fired it off, totally upright PROPELLED forward, SHEET such Biking JOY, BLISS, what a Treat.
Just on looks i'd get it cause it looks like a real dirt bike. I'd get it over the sur ron and work the kinks

Just got the Ultra Bee and wondering how this bike compares to the Ultra? The Ultra is as far as im concerned the perfect bike. This thing looks good though. Would like to know how they compare... so go ride an Ultra and tell me 😂
I have the ulra bee the bike is so much fun well made great for the price. I write on through it a lot. The only thing I did find out which a lot of other people put in the reviews and it’s about the only bad thing I could say about it is the front end tends to wash out in turns and soft terrain . For another 800 bucks you put at 18 in the back 21 up front and two new tires 600 for the wheels good tires 100 apiece and that bike is the best handles awesome, i’m very happy with it. It really doesn’t need anything else so for the price like I said you can’t beat it I think it’s nicer and faster than a KTM. Once the wheels are . The only other bike that I know that can probably touch it is the electric motion escape but that’s almost $11,000 but they’re excellent bikes they have a clutch which comes in super handy going over rocks stumps whatever because you can lift the front and right off the ground with jet with just a pull and release of the clutch. I also heard they were very cool. This is a good thing. It comes with her nice big rear wheel on it stock.
The bike looked great but with all the issues, I don't think I could trust it. I would need to test it first before even thinking of selling them at my shops
Chines quality control can be very loose with certain products or features in a product line. Take that thing apart completely and put it back together again properly! It's most likely infested with hidden design and workmanship bugs. Not trying to say China is not cable, again just lose in the area of mass production in ways. Cool bike though! (Here is the letter "o" that was not properly installed in the word loose of this comment).
But how exactly does it charge? Do u need a special charging platform? Can it be plugged into a regular home outlet? If i missed this in the video what time is this discussed?
Once the price gets down to under 1500 these bikes are gunna take over all the countries like Thailand, peru, Dominican Republic ect where bikes are more common than cars. Never needing to buy gasoline again is gunna change the game for millions of motorcycle riders in those countries
There is a bike called the Time ET. Has gears, but sounds fragile from feedback I've heard. Too much cost cutting on these bikes maybe..

I think its a rebranded Nicot EBeast. Not a good look for the brand with sketchy throttle. If they add a fifth gear and get the throttle sorted out, it would be a real winner. It has potential.

I bought the same e-bike a few months back, I paid $3300 usd, 60ah battery but I didn't buy from Secutronic because the sales people were jerks to deal with. To my understanding Secutronic does not make the bike, they are a trading company. The packaging was fantastic and the quality is right up there.

I think both distance, time of charging, the overall quality and that one feel is serious fun to ride matters to me.. I been thinking that if I can get one maybe I can work extra with delivery of some sort of high end goods in downtown... but then which model is really the best today in later 2023?

Not quite but close, it's actually the same as a nicot ebeast rather than the smaller fox. To be clear though, this bike is from the actual OEM in China that builds the bikes for the rest. So this is the "real" one.

My buddy took his kx 125 and put an electric motor on his bike after taking the blown piston and cylinder off cutting the crank rod off and hooking it directly to the crank shaft it rips with no problems or cutting off
It seems like a good idea to put electric torque on a gear box….I think something is just not right on it or it has a faulty sensor or something along that line…

These ev dirt bikes are nuts they are gapping the 4 strokes an 2 strokes at the track
At 3:17 you can clearly see that the cable routing is not correct. Pay attention when assembling the bike and if the handlebars can not rotated to a position which puts the cables in a logical order without twists and tangles, fix it, or pay a professional to do it correctly and just stick to riding. There may be nothing wrong with this bike when properly assembled and adjusted.

I just don't get the clutch thing!!! you effectively rev yet it stays stationary with the clutch not pulled in or are the levers both brakes, anyway are they worth the money
That is a wild dirt bike. The only complaint I have is, you should have been wearing a helmet when you were riding the bike on your lawn. You were going quite fast and almost dumped it when you were riding a wheely. Sof ground is like water, the faster you go, the harder it becomes. If you would have fallen, you would hit the ground like falling on concrete. It doesn't matter how good you are or how you feel you can control the bike at all times. Please wear a helmet. Other wise a great video.
