Got a 17 year old that loves this...actually she prefers the original, but for her to like something I bumped in high school is the indication that good music is always passed on.
You have to realize too that a lot of songs in the 1980's were being re-mixed by DJ's who were hired by the record labels without the bands/artists consent or even knowing what the final recording sounded like !... I have a lot of remixes with titles such as "Euro" mix or the "New York" mix without any approval from the artists themselves. That being said...I love the "that's right" sample !!!! Thank you for pointing it out !
The TH-cam version doesn't sound as good as the mp3 version I listen to, almost daily, at my job. It's not all there. It makes it a thousand times better hearing all the sounds in the music.
I love this version ❤
Heard this on the Saturday Night Safety Dance on 1st Wave on Sirius/XM. What a banger
Pretty cool when you consider this album with supposed to be a joke. Martin fry and Mark White really hit the ball out of the park with this one.
THE BEST VERSION BY FAR!!!!
Bring back all the childhood memories when i listen to this song.
THAT'S RIGHT!!!

Fantastic!! This is the best version ever! Thanks for posting! Kudos!
This song holds the record for reaching the top of the Billboard Dance Club Play chart the fastest. It raced to the top in only 3 weeks back in 1985!

Una de las mejores versiones extendidas de este exitazo de ABC👍👍
Yaaaaaasss !!!!
their most magical moment between _Lexicon_ and _Abracadabra_
Its said that the ''thats right'' sample comes from 'Get up and boogie' by Silver Connection but ABC never acknowledged that.

I checked out that song and yes, dang it if the "that's right!" doesn't sound exact. Oh well.
Gotta love those violin strikes. 0:12
This needs to be bass boosted!!
'CONCIERTO DISCOTECCCCC!!!!!!
i only like this mix because it shows track by track the parts and so on...so you can really hear things and whats going on...
So many of those 80's 12" singles were likewise "Deconstruction Mixes" like this one.
2020 Covid 19 Brought me here

I wish I knew where the hell that "that's right!" sample came from.
Yep, “Get Up and Boogie” by The Silver Convention
0:27 - Martin Fry looks like to Alec Baldwin. A little bit.
I like to 👎gie.
