Just because nobody commented on it and I didn’t really notice my first time watching: the City College flag has one tower building in the centre with two smaller buildings on either side, which is particularly funny while it’s being raised through and lowered from Greendale’s flag.
I love that when they do a Star Wars parody, they basically end up making Rogue One years before Rogue One comes out. Cos aside from the obvious references, the stuff where the library plan goes wrong and they're trapped in the library and die heroic deaths to take the enemy down with them... hadnt ever been a thing in Star Wars yet.

Imagine how great a cast and group of writers must be to be able to pull off an episode that great only 2 episodes or so after losing Donald Glover, possibly the closest competition with Damon Wayans for most talented person alive, from the cast. I honestly think it might be top 10, it is definitely in my top 20.
Don't worry. You guys aren't missing anything by not having a Denny's nearby. It's mediocre at best. However, they are located all over the country - and they're generally open 24-7 - which means it's a reliable place for late-night travelers - as well as teens in small town/cities where there's nothing else open after midnight.
I'm from Canada but I used to vacation in the states every year when I was younger. We do have Denny's here but few and far between so I had never been to one. One year we were visiting my Uncle in Wisconsin and my parents and I went to one for the first time. We all agreed it was amazing and went like every day we were there. Since then I have patronised a handful more, one time recommending it for a birthday dinner with friends. It was terrible, I don't know if we found a magic Denny's or they have just gotten worse over the past 20ish years but I have yet to have another good experience there.

But, generally speaking, Denny's is simply a place to hang out if you've got no where else to go in the early AM hours.

The Lion King is more based on Hamlet than Macbeth. It has Simba as Hamlet, Scar is Claudius (Hamlet's uncle), Mufasa is Hamlet the Elder complete with ghostly visitation, and both Hamlet and Simba spend time in exile. The original script even included quotes from Hamlet.
Chevy and Dan Harmon also had a really rough relationship, exacerbated by hectic filming schedules and Pierce not being to much of a departure from the man Chevy chooses to be in the real world, as a detail to where there may have been a some intention to leave his fate ambiguous.

One of the best season finales I’ve ever seen, Abed did us proud with his Han Solo impression. Also a couple of fun facts: If you look closely at the poster that the discount stormtroopers make fun of that is the show runner Dan Harmon in the picture.🤣🤣 And the actor who plays Magnitude is Luke Youngblood who was the Quidditch announcer from the first 2 Harry Potter movies.
There was moment not shown here. It’s when the music hits a dramatic high point and Troy/Abed do their handshake by clapping their guns together… I get chills every time

When I was in college, we had an IHOP and a Denny's across the street from each other. IHOP was where you went if it was 3 am and you wanted food. Denny's was where you went if it was 3 am and you wanted a fistfight with a line cook.

The show went through a pretty massive overhaul between season 1 and 2 with how it approached storytelling as well. It would've been nice to hear some of your thoughts on the season as a whole. I live rural and it takes that long to get to a city of any actual size (closest Walmart, big grocery, shops, hospitals, a good library, Asian grocery, a variety of restaurants other than a few fast food places and Mexican restaurants, etc)

There’s a great outtake with Alison from this episode, at the end when they’re back in the study room. One of my favorites.
