I was yelling highlighter. And lipstick. I KNOW you've been a gloss girlie for some time as well. My eye shape and incoming barrage of wrinkles on oily lids REQUIRE shadow primer, or at least the no budge shadow pencils first. I'm not buying concealer anymore for the same reason. Just color corrector, used sparingly. Something I thought I'd never buy, going back to the 90s, was vibrant blush. But I have that orange Butter Blush from NYX. You gotta be sparing with it, but it's cheerful.
I can with relief say that I no longer buy big eyeshadow pallets, makeup primer, and setting spray….. or loose pigments. I keep it simple now and I like my makeup more honestly
I don't know or have ever purchased contour products as they were presented when we were all trying to do the makeup Mario did on KK. I'm just not going to put anything gray on my face. I purchased a face pallet from Juvias Place and it had a darker shade that I thought really made a difference in my finished makeup. It was a bronzer and I didn't know that because there wasn't a dirth of bronzers that worked on my skintone. Shanygne I'm going to try press on nails. I'd really appreciate it if you did a tutorial on it. I'm sure I could find other tutorials but I don't know them like that 😂
I really enjoy your channel so I watch your videos pretty religiously but I rarely if ever buy makeup any more. I find as I've gotten older (31 this year) that I'm really okay with my bare face. I may put on makeup once or twice a year at this point. I hope you continue doing your videos, cause I'm living vicariously through you.
I buy all of the things. 😂 Except a few expensive skincare products that I make myself not buy even though I really want to. (I’ve hardly ever worn false lashes, contour, lip stick, or false lashes so that doesn’t really count). I love eye liner and eye shadow and mascara. Guess it’s part of being from the year of our Lord 1980. 😂
I never heard that about darker skin and micro blading! I got mine done in 2016 and thought I was crazy bc there's still some pigment left. Makes so much sense
I used to purchase eye primer until I joined TH-cam doing Covid. Looking back at your videos the only thing that has changed is your voice. Your beauty remains and appears as if you look younger. DON’T FUSS AT ME! 🤭
I swore off loose powder because the last full-size powder i had was the wet n wild photo focus banana powder and I looked stupid trying to bake, and I hated how messy it would get, and I barely touched it so I decluttered it and never looked back...until this year. When the pink and honey powder trend was, well, trending, I caved and bought the mini O/S pink powder and Huda beauty banana powder. I've yet to dig in to them as I'm focusing on panning my LYS pressed powder. I haven't worn blush for the longest because I always thought they were old-fashioned (granted the only colors I was familiar with were reds) That was before I bought the bh cosmetics truffle blush quads (which I've since decluttered) years ago and now with my discovery of liquid and cream blushes I'm all in. Honestly only things I stood business on not buying are highlighters (cuz what am I highlighting if not texture and honestly some of my eyeshadows can help with that) and falsies. I'm not putting glue near my eyeballs. NO ma'am. NO ma'am. 8:28 I just use brow pens as eyeliners. I bought 2 ABH brow pens to see if I can use them as intended but they never worked out so I just use them as eyeliner as they literally look the same as a felt tip eyeliner. I wore I wasn't gonna fall for the lip oil trend because I thought they were just lip glosses with another name. Now I decluttered most of my Fenty lip glosses and religiously use Haus labs lip oils. They're simple and leave a nice just enough shine on the lips. ETA: I have bronzer but rarely use it. I'm more of a contour person. Speaking of mascara, I'm getting into the brown mascara trend. Care to do a video on that? Maybe test brown mascaras for your skin tone? Are there any available for your skin tone?
I remember when you said you weren't gonna wear highlighter again, I was shooketh! I was like nah, I could never give it up. You'll be back around eventually lol. Not only did you stand ten toes, but I joined you cause I can't image wearing shimmer and glitter on my cheeks. It ruins the look.
New video! So excited! I told myself I would never buy expensive lotion because they all worked the same. I was ashy and wrong.
it makes me so mad when the expensive stuff actually works better😂😂😂
That's kiehls for me. Their body lotion! Can't go back
You cracked me up at the wig blindness, I swear I look at old pictures of myself and just cringe so hard.

I was like, I'm nor buying eyeshadow palettes anymore! And then Danessa Myricks came out with the coolest palette ever😂😂😂😂😂😂

You might like lowlighter from Danessa. It’s like highlight from within

🫡🫡 I’ll make you proud
I don't even use bullet lipstick or highlighter in my makeup kit, I also stopped buying makeup brushes 😂 this was a great video❤
Girl, I’m with you. I don’t purchase lipstick 💄 or highlighters anymore. And yes, that wig, I hope you threw her out never to be seen again 😂😂😂
Could you please try out the milani bluring primer and essence bronzing stick in 50,60

You stood on a couple businesses. I said I'd never buy an expensive eyeshadow palette but what's $80 to $120 between friends? 😅😂
'I said on Beyonce's internet' - you crack me up!
The YSL mascara is soo good though….
Same on highlighter. I haven’t bought any since like 2016
Likeeeee

You look better actually 🥰
Colored raine just announced they are closing 😢😢😢

I love highlighter but I don't need any more 😂🤣😂
I love mascara. But my sensitive eyes can only wear it on my top lashes.
Shanini!!!! *drea voice* hey friend lol i hope you're good girly stop letting business stand on you 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I am the opposite. Highlighter yes, contour no.
Do tell!! 😉💖🌹
Can we see the opposite video things you didn't buy but now you do lol
