I attended Smackdown last night for the first time ever and it was incredible! Jerry Lawler came out before they went live and said hey, and the dark matches were incredible! Did not expect to see Rhea or Drew in person!

@@EliasRoy He did said it. I just saw SmackDown so it's still kinda fresh in my memory coz I noticed it too. But I think it's an honest mistake coz Rock was talking about Roman Reigns prior to that. Reigns' name probably got stuck in his head that moment that's why he said Mama Reigns instead of Mama Rhodes, plus both surnames start with R.

WWE don't usually give in to their plans as easily as they did turning Rock heel, either The Rock wanted to do it (which is possible) or everyone sensed it would eventually present an opportunity to get Reigns face & cheered - which was always the point of his heel run from the beginning.
They might try something really daring with both building the feud as tweeners & both coming out of the match faces. Everyone will need to bring their A game to pull that off (creative team included) but it's theoretically possible.

Cody taken slap because he approved on it, rock did same because he approved it, seth taking insults because he approved for it, all those Cody insults being mistake and mama Rhodes is taken because Cody approved it. That's how storyline works if it's a scripted show

@@kjkbaybay that's gable story not Gunther because he already beats him twice as well every other competitors so it's story is to win one major title for his daughter. Every competitor except jd McDonough have their own story why they wanted to win intercontinental championship. Just because Chad gable story against Gunther and ic title is more personal and interesting doesn't make him worthy compare to others since he too lost opportunity 2 times already.
Intercontinental title for 6 pack ladder match makes more sense than tag team ladder match since tag team had story between jd and awesome truth while Gunther had story with no one that's sole reason there was Gauntlet match. If WWE really cares about gable vs Gunther he would've been winner not sami Zayn and if they thinking of making it 3 way then also it's not 1vs1 since it had sami Zayn too.

It would let Nakamura ricochet gable reed ivor and Dominick instead of McDonough WrestleMania screentime and would've let everyone shine and last it would've been best match of the WrestleMania if they just went for ic match instead of tag team

I'm surprised at the lack of follow-up on The Pride and FT, especially with Karrion Kross' great promos hinting division and even subtly adding Bianca into the mix. But then again, I'm sure it will next week with their tag team qualifying match.
